FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

Camille Paglia: Obama pretty much as fake as Madonna.

This from a supporter, mind you.

Imagine what she’d be like as an attacker.

I could have discussed her actual argument, but it’s more fun to post this video from the Salon article itself. Partially because it demonstrates a disaster for her candidate for completely different reasons than the one she made, but mostly because I’m pretty sure that Obama picks his nose halfway through it.

Well, when the Democratic Party decides to nominate a serious candidate, maybe I’ll take him or her seriously. Until then, you get what you give.

Moe Lane

PS: Actually, the last three pages of that essay effectively illustrate my point.

He wasn’t picking his nose, he was itching it.

I like how the crowd cheers when he says “We could save, like, 3 or 4 percent.”
(–ooooooh, that’s, like, a whole big bunch, right?)

Kinda like like the cheer after “We raped the horses and rode off on the women” without the “wait, a minute” afterward.

Must’ve knocked something loose though, because he flicks at his nose again a moment later.

Watch the dude with the Hilton Head muscle shirt. He wants to drool here, drool now. When Obama takes a long look off to his left, the guy looks over there like he’s missing something. Then when Obama says Republicans “take pride in being ignorant” and looks back over his shoulder, Hilton Head looks stricken, like the prof just called on him in class: “OMG, is he talking to me?”

And what is that on Hilton Head’s head? Sunglasses? Backwards cap? Kufi hat?Baby Lemur? Some combination of the above? He’s lucky he’s not in a Letterman audience. Dave would zoom in and pick him off quick.

The Britney/Paris ad stung. I mean really stung. It’s still part of his response even when he’s not responding to it.

    Good.

four percent of $4 is 16 cents, basically the same as McCain’s gas tax holiday. Not that that’s a large amount (and it’s not), but it’s a lot more immediate relief than any amount of new drilling.

While you’ve got your calculator out, tot up the difference between “short term” and “long term” solutions…without using the EIA, please.

But the big question is: “Does She Deny Fathering Rielle Hunter’s Baby?”

That poor child: imagine being born with no father listed on the birth certificate when someone must have fathered you, and might have run for President. Talk about being marked for life.

    I mean, even Madonna sang:

Papa dont preach, Im in trouble deep
Papa dont preach, Ive been losing sleep
But I made up my mind, Im keeping my baby, oh
Im gonna keep my baby, mmm...
