FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

Well, Senator Obama, at least you don’t have to blame *yourself* for the bad timing.

This time.

I gotta admit, Senator Obama – or, more accurately, whoever came up with this for you – this was a pretty slick trap that you set. You go out and create an anti-McCain ad that’s a: exceptionally dishonest; b: insulting to both him and Rush Limbaugh; c: has the potential to remind the rest of the GOP about it’s internal immigration dispute; and d: – this is the best part, for a given value of “best” – it’s in Spanish. I’m betting that the person that thought that bit hugged himself when he thought up that last bit, secure in the knowledge that surely us racist Republicans would be absolutely outraged at it. And, more importantly, that it’d be enough to get Rush to flip out (we’ll table for the moment the question of whether it would).

But hark! I suddenly have a precognitive flash! It’s about tomorrow’s Rush broadcast! He’s on the air! He’s angry! So very, very angry. His fury tangibly crackles out from the very radio speakers itself, and he is practically shouting:

Was this latest`cyber-attack on Governor Palin orchestrated by the Obama campaign?

Don’t you just love the Internet and all its inhabitants, Senator Obama? Particularly the way that they walk into the shot just as you’re trying to line it up. Sure, maybe Rush will get into it later – but right now he’s got something better to be angry about, and by the time this dies down any chance for a blowup will be gone, gone, gone. You’ll get… grumbling, I guess. Grumbling towards you, not McCain. Likewise, McCain will be more than happy to not get into this, either. In short: man, but the timing on this sucked for you.

So, just how much money did you spend on that suddenly-useless poison pill? – because I hope that you saved the receipts.

Moe Lane

PS: Don’t even think about whining about the question being asked, Senator. You send out people to disrupt radio interviews with the verbal equivalent of DOS attacks. And you had better hope that your little DNC anti-Palin packet isn’t on anybody’s confiscated hard drive – or, better, not-quite deleted from same. Because things are serious, now.

Memo to law enforcement investigators tracking down who broke into Sarah Palin’s Yahoo email account: Gabriel Ramuglia might be a good place to start.

The 25-year-old webmaster and entrepreneur is the operator of Ctunnel.com, the browsing proxy service used by the group that hacked into the vice presidential candidate’s personal email account and exposed its contents to the world. While he has yet to examine his logs, he says there’s a good chance they will lead to those responsible, thanks to some carelessness on their part.

“Usually, this sort of thing would be hard to track down because it’s Yahoo email, and a lot of people use my service for that,” he told El Reg in a phone interview. “Since they were dumb enough to post a full screenshot that showed most of the [Ctunnel.com] URL, I should be able to find that in my log.”

Rush has already addressed the Spanish Ad. I believe he was laughing more than frothing.

There is a post on Jonathan Martin’s Blog at Politico:

Limbaugh, hitting back over usage in ad, says Obama “stoking racism”

Rush explains how his past statements were taken out of context. He was laughing during his program yesterday, at the audacity of the hopeless Obamocrats over their race-bating, lie-filled ad.

  • Moe_Lane

But I’m still betting that he’ll talk about it pretty much not at all this morning. :)

“…were they even trying to cover their tracks? What kind of hacker goes about dropping bread crumbs? A dumb one.”

the gang that couldn’t shoot straight!!!

When you have the drive by Media saying your ads are false, You’re incompetent

    Re: the Spanish language ad.
I do think a little indignance is advisable. McCain should run Spanish language ads saying: “Barack Obama thinks you’re stupid.” Given Obama’s ad, that’s demonstrably true.

Second, does this mean that McCain can now cherry-pick (need not even do it out of context like Obama did) the most vile things that Dems have said about Christians and attribute them to “Obama and his Democratic friends”?

The people that say we are racist hate mongers, have to keep reminding America that we are racist hate mongers. Remember, with libs, words speak louder than actions. Who needs proof, we have people saying it on the Internet!

Bringing me to the next point, the Internet mob screaming invasion of privacy, only worry about their privacy. Screw anyone else’s. Unless someone hacks Barry, THEN it’s a crime.

Bill Hemmer I believe said that Juan Williams said Obama HAS to be up in the polling by 5 to 8% on election day to win the election because of the Bradley effect

Williams is a Liberal FAIR Liberal but Liberal & a Washington insider too boot, So I think he has pretty good Insights into this

I think Obama has to be up at least 2 points to feel good going into election day.

That being said, it is all speculation and McCain-Palin needs to get back on message and they both need to do a knockout job in the first two debates.

Don’t know about your level of Knowledge so I won’t even speculate there, But there is a Reason “THE CHOSEN ONE” is going hard negative now
