Harry Reid: If it’s Thursday, then I need John McCain’s help.

"Tomorrow, I shall demand that he fight the Marmoset People on my behalf..."

Whoops! Sorry: Mitch McConnell’s bored and making Reid say goofy things again. Hey, you have to make sure that the mind control chip is still working, right? Anyway, via the Corner we have the latest Need of Reid:

With the economic news only getting worse each day, I call on the President, Senator McCain and Congressional Republicans to join us to quickly get this done for American families.

I hope that this crisis resolves itself soon; if we use the chip too often on Reid, he gets nosebleeds…

Watch these videos and pass them on. I am so pissed that this is getting pinned on us. Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, and the rest of these corrupt f*s need to be brought down. The MSM is burying the truth and it is our responsibility to let the world know the real story.

Nancy Pelosi has stated publicly that she needs Republican votes to pass the bailout. At least 100 she had said in order to bring the bill to the floor of the house. So … she wants 100 republicans on record as supporting a $700 billion bailout, and is shocked, shocked when they actually want to make suggestions and changes to the bill?

What exactly is she smoking? This ain’t chump change, and this bill is not popular. You run the house lady – you can pass this without a single Republican vote if you choose. If you want the house GOP on board, compromise. If not, pass the bill and take your chances in the election. You really don’t get to have it both ways.

Obviously, Pres. Bush and Congressional Dem’s were hoping today that such a power would grip today’s discussions. ?
Congressional Repub’s, however, resisted. They fought back against this force today, and they deserve our support for it.?
My hope is that, in this case, John McCain ends up being a key element in bucking this Washington Tendency.?

McCain can fully redeem himself on this one if he provides a counter-weight to Bush/Paulson.
