FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

And today’s ACORN election fraud story comes to us from Milwaukee.

Been happening a lot lately, no?

The Democrat-affiliated ACORN is making news again:

Felon accused of voting violations

Milwaukee County prosecutors Tuesday charged a convicted felon with illegally registering himself and others to vote between his conviction and his sentencing.

The complaint accuses Adam Mucklin, 22, of registering to vote in June, after he was convicted of battery in April, and after a judge told him he couldn’t vote as a convicted felon. Later in June, Mucklin signed up to work as a paid voter registrar for the Community Voters Project, something else he couldn’t do as a convicted felon, the complaint says.

A recent opinion from the staff of the state Government Accountability Board says no one convicted of a felony can ever serve as a registrar, a stricter standard than the previous interpretation that registrars only had to be eligible to vote.

[snip]

Mucklin was among 49 voter registration workers who were referred to the Milwaukee County district attorney’s office by the Milwaukee Election Commission on suspicion of election fraud. He is the second to be charged.

This isn’t the first time that CVP has been caught at election fraud, either. And, in case you were wondering why I put up ACORN’s name:

Virtually all the workers under scrutiny were employed by either the voters project or by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. Those groups were among several politically liberal organizations that launched massive voter registration drives in Milwaukee in advance of the Nov. 4 election.

…it’s because they’re in each other’s pockets pretty much across the country anyway.

Now, ACORN offers the usual excuse that it’s just a few bad apples, not the whole barrel; there’s no indication whether they did the usual sudden head-tilt, expressionless stare and robotic monotone when telling the reporters that. Probably: it’s a big hit at parties.

Financed by Obama and the dems.
We are being played for fools.
And the cost is our nation.

always seem to come up in these voter fraud stories .. what is with the upper Midwest.

Regardless, the FEC and Justice Department need to get on the stick. I know, New Tone and all that, but clean elections have to be ensured.

I always thought it was rather classless of the Dems to contest the last two elections.

This election, I believe the Reps ought to challenge the elections results if Obama wins… all things considered. We know ACORN isn’t working for Republicans, after all. I suspect, also, with the number of advocacy groups backing the Dems they may not be the only ones engaged in this nefarious behavior.

I was always taught, as a child, that if one could not win without cheating, one should not play the game/sport/debate. Interesting that, in the ’04 and ’06 election cycle here in Wa., the Dems were shrieking about “republican Voter fraud”, but the only questionable votes went to Dems.

    Curious, no?

Let’s pressure the democratic leaders to acknowledge the voter fraud convictions and demand that these leaders denounce Acorn. Failure to denounce will result in more demands that they do so. We will be in a win, win. If they denounce, we stress Obama’s connections. If they don’t, we stress voter fraud and Obama’s connection. Either way, Obama = voter fraud.
By the way, should we also ask Jimmy Carter to monitor?

This should really be no surprise to anyone. This is the strategy of the radical far-left – “The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.”

This is from an American Thinker article that Eric linked to the other day as a “must read”. Here’s the link again, if you missed it.

Earlier this a.m. I was looking at the MSNBC site to see if they would run the story and to my surprise it was there, down at the bottom of the list, and in such a way that you wouldn’t recognize it if you didn’t know about the raid. I went back an hour later and the story had been removed from their site. How can they call themselves a “news” agency? They should change their name to Democrat News Network and be made to register as a 503-C.

Would this count as a third strike? wouldn’t that be amusing.
