Ace versus Allahpundit on Fund/Levinson Fox ACORN video.

Note that they - and I - agree that Levinson is a two-faced jackass.

Allahpundit thinks that it was an “almost total waste,” thanks to the fact that Levinson kept talking over Fund; Ace thinks that Levinson is “a superstar — for the right” for pretty much the same reason. I’m going to lean on Ace’s side on this one, if only because Camerota herself was getting more and more tired of Levinson as the segment went on, and it showed.

Plus, really, Scott Levinson is a two-faced jackass. And he’s not quite as smooth as he thinks he is; ACORN isn’t used to operating under actual levels of media scrutiny. The smarmy tone works OK on the Sunday talk shows, but then few people actually watch those.

    I might give it to Levisnon if it were pre-emptive – say they started this campaign two weeks ago before major media outlets broke all the fraud. But now the jig is up and he looks like a pompous ahole.

    I don’t know how many people were watching that early on a Saturday morning, but I suspect more than a few of them, like me, had indigestion or insomnia.

    That said, Levinson succeeded in making sure that Fund could not get a coherent thought out. You simply couldn’t hear much of what he said because the a$$ just kept talking over him, the communications strategy of choice for lefties. Since you can’t just reach over and bi#$h slap them, I don’t know how to deal with that in a manner that doesn’t make you come off as too agressive for today’s delicate sensibilities.
