So, is it the *Good* Parts of ACORN that you want to help you shape the agenda, Senator?

As opposed to the parts that keep getting investigated, arrested, and convicted for voter registration fraud?

Because it’s getting harder and harder to keep track of who’s doing what, and to whom.

PS: Just to reassure Allahpundit: here’s a link to the connections that the CCC has with all of its community organization friends, not to mention Leftist, Marxist, and generally radical activist groups. These people have been pretty much all living in each other’s pockets for the last forty years; by now they’re more incestuous than a Faulkner novel.

PPS: You may want to have a chat with DNC mouthpiece Brad Woodhouse about what the phrase “There’s no relationship here” actually means. Although I must say that the accelerated mushroom treatment that you’ve put the DNC through seems to have paid dividends: they repeat the Approved Points of Talk quite steadily. Electroshock? Drug cocktail? Forced memetic downloading?… oops, ignore that last one.

The McCain campaign needs to capitalize on all the bad press ACORN is getting (finally) right now and use Obama’s word against him.

Remember the Sopranos episode where the gang works with Dem. politicos to use government housing dollars to line their own pockets while they rip off taxpayers, homeowners, tenants and the general community?

Slum landlord Tony Rezko helped the Obamas buy their expensive home. Sen. Obama had a long time relation with Rezko; but seems to have trouble remembering his housing buddy.

    Acorn provided ground troops, advisors,
questionable voter registrations, and political contributions to Sen. Obama; but again his mind is foggy on another longstanding relationship.

Acorn and liberal politicians like Sens. Dodd, Kerry, and Obama received large contributions from Fannie/Freddie which they protected.

They urged that regulations protecting tax payers by eliminated and forced banks to streamline mortgages to people who could not afford them under threat of law suits and race baiting.

Fannie/Freddie bought packages of mortgages. These bundles were rated higher than they really were worth and therefore seemed to have more value than was warranted.

It was like grade inflation where high schools graduate “B” students who are really “C”, “D”, or “F” students and colleges then have to provide remedial courses. And of course colleges do the same thing and businesses have to provide remedial education.

Acorn, Obama, Dodd, Kerry, Frank, and Reid caused the mortgage crisis which caused the financial crisis.

In return they received political contributions and put their friends into cushy jobs. These friends also made contributions and two of them advised Sen. Obama including one who chaired his VP search committee until being exposed and removed.

Sen. Obama doesn’t remember these details either. Perhaps he needs many, many more years to rest and remember before being president.

Are we surprised?: http://apnews.myway.com/article/20081012/D93ON3T00.html So Fidel, Osama, Hamas, Hezbollah and the ayatollahs will all be dancing in the streets come Nov. 5. Who’s next – Putin?

Does anyone still have the picture of Howard Dean in New Orleans working with ACORN to gut one of the houses after Hurricane Katrina? It’s apparently been expunged from their website but it around Friday, April 21st, 2006. Someone must have it.

In the meantime, people can look at this one.

And nothing would be complete without the video:

Sorry if this is a repost, Moe.

ACORN has no traction, and the chances it will pick any up are slim. The name is too obscure and most voters won’t take the time to research it one way or the other.

  • MediaHound

Wow, ACORN and Obama will soon be synonyms. ACORNgate is gaining traction.

    1. Voter from perpetrated by ACORN is rampant

    2. ACORN is all tied up in the Sub Prime Meltdown

    Now that is a twofer.

This video is highly embarrassing for Obama but it will not be sufficient. McCain must damage Obama’s economic credibility in the debate. Quite simply Obamas promises total 1000 billion dollars. Add in bailout of 700 billion dollars. Obama cannot fund middle class tax cuts. He is bluffing. Note also that he fudges on public expenditure freeze.
He lied on off shore drilling and nuclear in the last debate. He got away with it. He declared that he was in favour of them. John McCain must explain in layman’s terms the implications of Obamas Socialism: Tax Tax and more Tax.Denmark has a 63% marginal tax rate on top earners. Obamas policies will lead the US in this direction.

..McCain needs to use a big hammer and nail them shut.
McCain needs to go ballistic and explain to the American people that economic policies like Obama will destroy and use the word DESTROY our economic base.
Here is a line McCain should use….
“Barack, what good is your 95% tax break, actually that is a bogus number because 40% of Americans don’t pay taxes, sorry back to my point about DESTROYING the economy, what good is a tax break if 50% of the people you want to give tax breaks to, lose their jobs? Barack, all indicators are pointing in the direction of a loss of confidence in the American system of capitalism. If you come in and raise taxes on business’s that make over $250,000 I can guarantee you will have job loss. If you raise capital gains, you will have job loss. Barack we need to do everything we can to make American business have faith in the U.S. government. The American government cannot dictate to business and if we try they will leave along with their capital in such a rapid fashion as to cause widespread harm and panic.”

He’s had 2 previous debates to to expose these things. He is acting like Casey at the bat right now. He MUST hit a home run this last and final debate or this is history boys and girls. With Barry’s Acorn Agenda driven plans, I’ll say it again: We are so screwed!

    disappear from youtube?

To run an ad with it would be to invite racism charges, since that is the leftist MO. Anybody crying foul on the bad loans is a racist, the leftists say.

The American people are wising up, albeit slowly. The One is starting to smell, very badly, like a rotting fish left in the sun on a hot humid day.

    the end is near…

Me, no buying of stocks, only hunkering down and waiting for the inevitable.

We are in for a very long run of leftist – socialist rule – heaven help us.

Yes, wistful thinking is about all I have left…

When the people do wake up to our New America…it will be way too late…unless a military solution is available…

Not just a bet depressed with our direction…

The big secret is out. Politicians and the media were hiding the fact that American households have a net worth of over 56 trillion dollars. That is more than half the household wealth of the world. Those statistics come from the Federal reserve Flow of Funds Summary Statistics Second Quarter 2008. If there was a way to get the hoarders of those bucks to go on a long shopping spree the recession in the U.S. would quickly end. But our politicians fear talking to those idle saving account owners and their potential to stimulate our economy, they would rather increase the national debt than anger millions of cheap voters. Consumer spending determines the health of the economy not inflationary government handouts. Until some miserly Americans start digging into their over loaded bank accounts and start spending money our recession will continue indefinitely.
