FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

Yippie Kay Yay, Joey Biden.

Thanks for the assist.

There are times where “Joe Biden opens his mouth” is wholly inadequate as a tag. This is one of those times.

Again, thanks for the help, Senator Biden.

Moe Lane

PS: The title, of course, is evocative of Biden’s slip in referring to our nominee as “John McLane’ – something too hokey for the McCain campaign itself to really try to push, so I’m sure that they’re grateful that Biden did it for them. Biden then went on to watch a NASCAR joke that he probably didn’t really understand anyway fall flat among a crowd that probably didn’t follow the sport enough to find said joke funny.

(pause)

Was it really such a bad idea to pass over Herself for… for… for… Joe Biden, Senator? I mean, even if you win you’re going to have to deal with this guy for four years. What are you planning to do, have him put in cyronic storage?

No wonder the Democrats are suddenly worried about the precise role of the VP in the government. They’re terrified of the prospect of Joe Biden having something to actually do.

    JOE BIDEN !!!!!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • Swamp_Yankee

I thought this was a Kay Hagan post.

How about a 1 minute ad with the same words but ad Joe’s promise that America will not like how they react

  • E_Pluribus_Unum

He may be our leading scorer at this point.

  • Swamp_Yankee

People on Republican sites seem to like long web type ads. But they are too expensive for TV and the general public has short attention spans and is hating all ads right now. I’d rather see a good 30 second ad run twice as often as a good 60 ad. Short, sweet and cheap.

  • jimmuy8

“The ad will be televised in key states.”

    Which ones?

How many here in battleground states have seen the latest McCain ads?

I don’t want that part of the statement to be forgotten. He promised that America won’t like their response to the crisis…

  • David_Hinz

I received your message, but sadly I must decline. You see, while you claim it is entirely Black and White (race), we all know that it is black & white (credibility, experience, political philosophy.)

Sadly, you will neither understand this, nor (most likely) respond, as you are so deeply drinking of the Kool-Aid that rational thought is impossible for you.

I realize that even as I write this, you are already gone, either by moderator or by design. By now, you are registered at NextRight, or Right Nation, or (shudder) TMR, where you will spam the exact spam you spammed above.

I can only hope that you will be similarly greeted as you are here. And of course, I hope you receive a good grade from your 5th grade teacher for your efforts.

“if Obama was a white man he would have 98% lead and McCain would have 2% voters and that’s a fact”

is perhaps the most blinded to reality comment I’ve read in a while. The truth, rather, is if Obama was white he wouldn’t have made it out of the dem primaries. The only reason Obama is doing as well as he is, racist as it may sound, the fact he’s not white.

  • RoxannaDanna

I could have this all wrong and if I do, I’m sure someone will correct me.

It wasn’t too long ago and before Biden made this stupid statement that it was reported there was a transition team in the Bush administration working with both candidate’s security advisors. The goal was to try and avoid any terrorist activity during the first year of a new administration. The reporter noted that many big attacks, from 9/11 to England to Madrid, all occured around an election or transference of government power. It was also noted by the reporter that the 3 principle senators (McCain, Obama and Biden) were all included in this top secret information. Sarah was not because she didn’t have the security clearance.

Move ahead a few days and Biden makes this really bizarre statement. “Mark my words”… “I guarantee it”… and then the cryptic statement about how many people won’t like or think that whatever Obama does in the face of this crisis, will be right. But we should stand behind him and support his actions, no matter how “not right” we think they are.

Am I the only one who wonders what it is the Biden knows that we don’t? Because it sure does appear that he knows something…

  • Republicanuck

That’s what the USA will become under Obama and unchecked Democratic rule in the Senate and House. I shouldn’t need to remind you, gentle Troll, that Democrats, not Republicans, have actually been in charge of both your Congress and Senate since January 21, 2006 so the Democrats have actually been the ones calling the shots on your economy and it’s on Pelosi and Reid’s watch that this economic disaster has happened.

  • PaRep

Rasmussen has McCain 50% to 48% & that is with his Goofy arsed Weightings

So he’s up probably 5 or more

  • Republicanuck

And by the way, it’s not about him being Black, it’s about him being Pink!!!!

  • RoxannaDanna

or commas, periods, any kind of puncuation?

I mean seriously pal, if your points were even readable, you might stand a chance at being taken seriously.

Note: the operative word here is MIGHT.

An obamadog just took a smelly dump.

  • MikeO

Read or listen to his stuff. Biden has swiss cheese where his brain is supposed to be.

  • RoxannaDanna

I don’t argue Biden’s propensity for stupid comments. I’ve read/heard most of them. [that 3 letter word: J O B S; FDR not only being on nationwide TV (when there was no TV) but doing it in 1929 when he wasn't the president, and on and on.] I know how stupid he speaks sometimes.

And I know I’m sounding like a conspiracy theorist.

But I also think that Joe might be one of those crazy like a fox kinda guys: Crazy most of the time so that when he really isn’t, no one notices.

Obama is very vulnerable on National Security issues. Had this election not been about the credit crisis at home, McCain would have easily won this election.

  • portlandon

Say it ain’t so Joe!! Biden is the best thing that could have ever happened to the McCain Campaign since the Palin pick. Is Joe trying to throw this thing to McCain or something? If Joe was a Submarine captain he would be firing on your own ships!! He needs to be sent out to pasture after this election defeat.

    So long Joe.

I don’t watch much network TV, but what happened to all the 527 ads?

Did Sen. Obama’s thugocrats scare off our guys?

  • DavidS1787

I would Have no confidence in Obama if he did face a crisis like the one above.

    Vote for proven leadership!

    McCain/Palin

  • 1SGinTN

    I shamelessly promote this.

  • delphi

i think a lot of people are confusing ‘joe biden said something stupid’ with ‘joe biden said something stupid that will somehow affect the outcome of the election.’ you might think an ad is effective, but it only really matters how effective it is with a small portion of voters in a handful of states. and they already seem to have made up their mind.
