For a long time now I’ve been getting tired of just seeing the pathetic program-guide entry for “CH:73 Obama’s Plan for America (Paid Ad)” being there. I wonder if it’s the same 1/2 hour garbage!?!? Not that I really care, have/had no interest in seeing it. I sat through all his BS during EVERY SINGLE DEM Primary and Reg Debates (watched all Rep debates also, but that’s a given).

It’s all the Hitleresque pomp and circumstance call to March crap.

I got home from Wednesday night faith formation with my daughter a little after 8 p.m. and purposely waited to click on the TV for the World Series.

To my pleasant surprise John McCain’s latest anti-Obama truthfilled ad was right there up front airing. Nice.

My PA mother-in-law is visiting us. Yesterday I had worked her over back to the “undecided” camp. She and my beloved wife came home at 9 p.m. and she was quick to ask, “Did you watch Barack Obama?”

I said, “No, I was trying to save electricity.” ;o)

Sadly, she has spoken to her husband back in PA today, and she’s back to leaning Obama because they both feel it’s time that they pay more taxes (they’re in that 5%) so that they don’t leave more debt to their children and grandchildren.

I had to contain myself, but simply left her with a “Well, if that’s your choice. It’s just one of alleged lower taxes, $1.3 trillion more in spending and a 25% cut on our nation’s defense.”

I am baffled by this all of the sudden “guilt” to pay more. I should tell her as she leaves back for PA that if she really wanted to help pay down the national debt, why not start sending extra thousands NOW to the IRS..?

He outlines eight constitutional consequences of what would happen if Obama does not produce the requested evidence of his natural-born status, and it is not a pretty picture at all. For instance, if it is true that he is not a natural-born citizen, does not produce the evidence, and is elected on Nov. 4, Congress could pass no laws. Furthermore, Obama could not be impeached, since he was not legally the president. Armed forces would potentially have to arrest him, which could lead to civil war.

I was at class. We were discussing computational approaches to dealing with NP-Complete problems. The concrete example we focused on was calculating maximal independent set in a given graph. We worked through the straight forward naive algorithm which unfortunately is very inefficient, O(n2*2^n), as well as slightly better recursive algorithm which was a bit more efficient at O(1.62^n). The discussion might have been a bit dry and esoteric to outsiders, but to me it was far more interesting than hearing The One. Strangely enough, the discussion of exponential runtimes and their impact on the size of the problems that can be practically solved with computers reminded me of how exponentially rising taxes and government spending will the affect overall prosperity in our republic.

And then when an Obama commercial came on I had to listen to my three year old son say (with great pride, thanks to my father-in-law) “Nobama! John McCain!”

I didn’t watch it because I was on the internet checking out my favorite websites like Red State.

But I’m sitting down listening to the radio and at a half hour break they played a clip from Obama’s commercial.

Did he really say after he won’t be a perfect President that “Americans will know where he stands!”

I really can’t help but feel sorry for you people. Your bitterness and resentment towards someone who truly wants to help you and me get this country back on it’s feet again is overwhelming.

Obama was just “spreading the wealth” of his contributors donations to the Networks that have been covering his (and foot-in-mouth Biden’s) hind-side in news-coverage and doing more to get him elected than he could ever do on his own.

Also, I keep hearing the Obambam apologists trying to downplay the World Series time, as the game on that date was always going to start at 20:30… Yes, because the time from 20:00-20:30EST was bought and paid for long ago and going to be carried by FOX (regular Network affiliates) at that time. So, baseball ACCOMODATED for the Network coverage (YOU THINK THEY’D SAY NO AND PASS ON THE NETWORK REVENUE?!?!?), oh please. So, the Game, whatever Game, whether it be resuming Game 5 as it was or whether it had been Game 6 from Tampa Bay, it was going to start at 20:30 – BUT ONLY BECAUSE THE TIME WAS DICTATED BY NETWORK CHANGES, the other Games were at 20:00 EST. Subsequent Game times were all 20:00, look in your TV guide!!! For a group that says it wants to talk about the “ISSUES” they continue with the DISTRACTION POLITICS. Regardless of the WS time, it is a good fun line that is not substantive, yet they (Dem spokespeople) harp on it – Distort, distract, and cover for the Socialist in Centrist clothing.
