Very, very old. Heath Haussamen has more, but it’s mostly the same exasperation, with only a “no reply” from the Obama campaign to differentiate it from my own exasperation. On the other hand, Governor Palin certainly doesn’t need to wait for one to bring up the obvious:
Palin said that Obama’s definition of what constitutes the middle class seems to be evolving.
“And just this morning, Gov. Bill Richardson, a top surrogate for the Obama campaign, he who is working so hard to get Obama elected, Richardson said Obama’s tax plan would define middle class as $120,000 a year and under,” Palin said. “So now, we’re down to less than half the original income level and, just give it a little more time, and Barack Obama will be back to raising taxes on folks earning $42,000 a year.”
Amusingly, the CBS reporter covering this called it a “slip of the tongue,” which is apparently journalist-talk for “Wow, that was dumb.” In the meantime, I suggest that the Obama campaign take this time to decide just once and for all what the cutout is. May I suggest that they try some multiple of 57? - because that way it’ll at least be easy for all of their operatives to remember.

The Fools/Clowns that delude themselves into believing these LIES (IMO) again (especially now with the economy bad, at best you’ll get another 1 time stimulus check, not a Permanent Tax Cut to allow you to keep more of your OWN MONEY).
Then there are those other folks…
Who might just see those WELFARE handouts to those not actually paying the Federal Income Tax though…
It is an absolute shame so many are willing to SELL THEIR VOTE for $1.36 a day ($500.00 Tax Credit). I state is blatantly in that fashion because I do not think that some who have allowed themselves to be sucked in (IMO) to Obama’s bait-and-switch (Spread the wealth) plan without considering the long term consequences of what his overall policies ($1 Trillion in additional Spending). What good is that $1.36 a day going to do you/them if more and more jobs are lost and inflation goes back to the double-digit rates of the Carter era?!?! Some of these folks are voting themselves right out of their job!
If Barack believes that everyone (including those who DO NOT PAY ANY FEDERAL INCOME TAX) should have an extra $500/year, then why doesn’t he put forth a plan to exempt the first $7,100 of wages from the FICA Tax (7,100 @ 7% = $497)? That isn’t “Redistribution” and doesn’t want anyone to permanently have the Tax Cut, just wants to “Buy Votes” of some by promising to send them a Check!
The purpose of the Tax Code is to RAISE FUNDS NEEDED TO COVER CONSTITUTIONALLY ALLOWED GOVERNMENT FUNCTIONS/ACTIVITIES, NOT “SPREADING THE WEALTH!”
