They’ll call for Boehner’s head for this, no doubt.

Which I'm sure pleases him.

This is a family-friendly blog, so I have to edit slightly the comments of House Minority Leader John Boehner on Senator Obama:

“Now, listen, I’ve voted ‘present’ two or three times in my entire 25-year political career, where there might have been a conflict of interest and I didn’t feel like I should vote,” Boehner said. “In Congress, we have a red button, a green button and a yellow button, alright. Green means ‘yes,’ red means ‘no,’ and yellow means you’re a chicken sh[]t. And the last thing we need in the White House, in the oval office, behind that big desk, is some chicken who wants to push this yellow button.”

Ben Smith reports further:

UPDATE: Boehner spokesman Don Seymour, er, clarifies: “Boehner’s point was that Barack Obama consistently avoided making tough decisions and taking tough votes, and voters need to know that. You can’t take a pass on a tough issue when you’re President of the United States.”

Let me translate Seymour for Smith: “He said it. Deal.”

Moe Lane

PS: Yeah, yeah, how horrible it is that we can’t concentrate on the issues. Whatever. After all, it’s not like we can get a straight answer from Obama on any.

Two men enter one man leave….

A leader is defined by many things and his decision making is key…no yellow buttons in the White House, the stakes are high.

Did you noticed the “journalist” used Obama’s website Fact Check as a reference?

  • JLenardDetroit

getting response timeouts, hope this doesn’t double post but… let freedom ring chicken button…

About flippin’ time, I’d say. Thank you Representative Boehner.

A bit of advice to you, Congressman: Take Don Seymour out of the picture and look the cameras straight in the lenses and the American people straight in the eyes and say it again and again and again. Shout it from the mountaintops if you can.

If I remember right, the words Senator Obama used were “Say it to my face”.

OK, Senator Obama: This private citizen will say it to your face (if he could in person, not one word would be different) . . . and I’m not anonymous on the internet either, so I’ll say it here and now.

With all due respect sir, your philosophies and ideas for our country will result in the elimination in the most important thing in human existence: Freedom. Multiple freedoms, at that and I’m not talking about anything legislated either – it’s in the spirit.

I am convinced that you will stand by and watch as Israel and Jews are eliminated world wide. I believe that almost immediately on taking office, you will decimate the military branches of the United States because of your hatred for what you mistakenly think we are about as a country.

I fully believe that you and your supporters will knowingly and willingly incite a race war if you are not elected to become POTUS.

While I believe you are a good father to your children, I truly believe you are borderline evil when it comes to your beliefs regarding our own in terms of education and whatever this “civilian volunteer security force” of yours is to be.

I can go on, but I want to watch the replay of tonight’s NASCAR Truck Race that a fine American won (Ron Hornaday in the 33).

Oooooh, I just made a grave mistake, I showed my hand. That’s right, I’m one of “them”, a NASCAR fan……….I’m also Jewish and how “my people” could ever consider you a friend is completely beyond my comprehension.

If you lose the election (and I pray to God multiple times per day that you do), I also pray that you will have the common decency to step down as a United States Senator and apologize to the American People for bringing us closer to the edge than we’ve ever been.

OMG, Drudge has in screaming headlines that Zogby has McCain +1 nationally.

  • pwest

You know what; maybe, some conservatives are finally growing a set!

  • RedInABleuState

In a year where I found myself rooting for Hillary, wishing Obama would remain my Senator, and voting for McCain…NOW I’m actually cheering for Boehner.

It’s gonna take awhile to decompress after this one. Regardless.

…..if you’re by yourself, I’d recommend a wee bit of Crown Royal Cask 16 over a few ice cubes in a nice glass, take a deep breath or two, watch the sunset.

If you’re married and/or have children, give the wife and/or kids a hug for no reason. I’ve heard that works too. I don’t have a wife or any kids, so this second theory can’t be proved by me.

    Cheers !

Hopefully people will continue to get some sense about this election and do what is best for America!!!

  • izoneguy

    Great video…like the clucking chickens.

  • Husker

race baiting sycophant from the Obamamedia will cite the chicken as a subliminal racial slur. Mark my words, or gird your loins, or whatever the heck Joe Biden says.

  • JLenardDetroit

guess this would be a Latino slur. As dumb as it would be, wouldn’t put it passed ‘em floatin’ it.

To see if people Lie to Pollsters.

90% of the People affirmed, but then again the other 10% may not have been honest.

  • seattle_ite

Fine points, all. Clarity of purpose doesn’t come as an adjunct duty of your position; it’s what the position is meant to preserve. We need more leaders with the guts to say it straight. GO JOHN!

  • seattle_ite

Sometimes, the best end to the day is the ability to love your family. Scratch that; always.

with the 700 billion dollar bailout BUT this lessen’s the pain a LITTLE..

  • dglenn

that you guys would link to that rag paper on my campus. Oh well, I am about to go trash them on my radio show.

  • Raven

And while it is most certainly slanted in Obama’s favour, it isn’t his website.

  • HsvConservative

    +5

  • ETCartman

The first three paragraphs were all facts.

    I’ll give ‘em that.

  • Common_Cents

That guy should be campaigning for McCain. He gets it and has great delivery!

Great common sense reply about Dems needing poor people to remain poor.

I plan to be on the mall on Tax day. But there is a larger picture to see, if only for the sake of being ready for anything. As I said, Zero is no ordinary terrible president. The battle he brings is without precedent, and the stakes are not just everything we have as Americans, but rather everything we have as humans.

I didn’t mean that the local battle (by local I mean the American political battle) should be abandoned. But there is more to see, and it matters very much that we see it.
