Obama will continue to get away with his trademark bullying Chicago style of “leadership”. This is all he knows and is right out of the Alinsky Rules for Radicals playbook in that he will systematically clear the field of all dissenters. His adoring throngs of hard core leftists will continue eating this up and marching in lock step with BO will become the new patriotism, I fear.

I think that Obama will spend all of his political capital up front if necessary to get this bill passed because everything else he wants to do will be built on this foundation - including socialized health care and immigration to name a few.

You’re right that 2010 will be interesting…but I hope by then that the electorate will understand that the three GOP Senate turncoats in favor of this bill have never been true conservatives and that the vote on the bill is truly all Democrat. I’m not so sure this is the case right now.
