…(care of the much more interesting Jen Rubin) for two reasons. One, people like Dowd really do think that we think and talk like this:

“I hear Poppy Bush is furious at you,” he says. “He’s telling folks he put Junior in your care and you stole his presidency and destroyed the Bush name and derailed Jeb’s chances to ever be president, and P.S., you wrecked the country and the Atlantic alliance to boot. He has it in for Lynne, too. Thinks she spun you up, like she did in high school with her flaming batons. He thinks you got loopy from all the heart procedures. And Colin’s mad at you.”

“He can go to yoga with Pelosi for all I care,” Dick growls.

Bizarre to contemplate, but true. There are people out there who apparently just can’t function in life unless they’ve convinced themselves first that the opposition has a Deep, Dark Conspiracy in place. I suppose that it’s a motivation exercise, or something.

PS: The second reason? I thought that I’d give whoever she might have ripped off to write this piece a better chance of seeing it.

    Modo joins the pantheon of liberal plagiarists. That bus is getting awfully crowded. If you include actual journalists, writers, historians and politicians, it’s a convoy of buses.

    Someone name the conservative plagiarists.

    It makes me sick when a liberal claims to be the defender of facts. This is a form of dementia. It is the worst form of vile betrayal of truth to purport evidential reason and critical thinking when your entire worldview is based on distortion.

    This Modo piece is another blithe example of the projection that takes place with every media maven (I don’t even need to qualify as MSM or Lib anymore). The news is not the news, the facts do not matter to these spin misters, and they never did. The news is what they want you to think and believe. They can take a new item by-line and turn it into 12 hours of out right crap that has nothing to do with the facts of the case and everything to do with their projection, mental dysfunction and magical powers to convince and persuade audience, the sheep, to go where their masters point.

    I’ve seen this become the order of the day and it does make me sick, I pity these sad people who simply can not deal with reality. What kind of a world they must live in. Whatever their illusion – it will fade, it will come to a halt and the vacuum they find themselves in with lead to an abyss.
