I’d say send one to your Representative, too – but that ship has sailed.

Besides, either you’re in a GOP district, which means (with eight unfortunate exceptions) your legislator is already clued in – or you’re in a Democratic one, which means that you were planning to vote against the person anyhow.

    I’m all for doing something other then phone calls, faxes and general ranting to anyone, anywhere, who will hear me.
    But $17 plus shipping seems like more then a lot of people are going to be willing, or able, to part with in what might very well be wasted effort.
    Also, and this is just a personal quirk of mine, I believe that if you are going to seek to send vast amounts of something to the Congress (either Chamber), it should be cheap and completely useless beyond it’s protest value.
    Don’t want to provide an opportunity for the Congress Critters to ‘donate’ whatever you send to some charity or whatever, thereby gaining even a modicum of favor.
    Perhaps something truly useless is a better, and cheaper, idea.
    An old, rusty, pop bottle cap?
    Or even a not so old one, pried off a refreshing beverage of your choice?
    Wouldn’t be any additional cost to anyone wanting a cool flavorful drink, and would fit in a standard envelope with ‘just’ regular postage.
    AND could include a nice little comment to the Congress Critter!!

    …send copies of the pictures to your representatives, and wear the shirt to a Tea Party, where you will be complimented on your attire.

    Now, we all know some of the brain-dead across America might still be reachable (yeah, I know, may be small percentage, but…) with the only real question as to the strategy/tactics to reach some of them….

    Well… we all know people are going to be focused on MTV, VH1, etc… over CNN, MSNBC, etc … (oh heck, I’m not fooling anyone, they too will remain focused) for Michael Jackson Tributes… You get the point, they ain’t covering the ObamAgenda and more than willing to feed the sleeping masses distractions to what goes on with their Ultra-Liberal Ally Democrats.

    Yes, I am more than half-serious in this suggestion — time for TEApeat Thriller dances to be staged…. Well, of course, you know…. PUBLICITY STUNT! Inpromptu or planned/staged recorded and loaded to YouTube….

    I don’t think I have to explain it further…. The point, of course, to garner the attention of the otherwise out-to-lunch MJ fan that they can moon-walk and chew bubble-gum at the same time and focus on what their Govt is doing to them. That those that go to TEApeats are LIKE THEM, includes some MJ fans who do care that he passed but that…. well… again.. you know… YOU GET IT… The point is that they don’t and whatever can be done to engage them is not for naught…. IMNSHO ;-)

    The ObamaZombie Thriller dance — picture a large group of folks in “Don’t Tread On Me” Yellow shirts… Yes, frightening on many levels…

    It’s all about Marketing Strategy and bringing folks into the process however possible.

    Again, YES, I am more than half serious, but NO I am not arranging one myself ;-) lol

    And you know what’s just as bad as his national reputation and his far Left ideology is that he’s not even good on local issues.

    Check out this gerrymandered district. He’s got super elitist liberal enclaves of Boston – Newton and Brookline, which are densely populated. Then he’s got a bunch of swamp yankees down on the coast. He never even steps foot down here. He doesnt have to as long as he’s got uber liberal Newton and Brookline.

    In addition to communicating with the local Air Traffic Control facility, all aircraft in the Persian Gulf AOR are required to give the Iranian Air Defense Radar (military) a ten minute ‘heads up’ if they will be transiting Iranian airspace..

    This is a common procedure for commercial aircraft and involves giving them your call sign, transponder code, type aircraft, and points of origin and destination.

    I just flew with a guy who overheard this conversation on the VHF Guard (emergency) frequency 121.5 MHz while flying from Europe to Dubai .

    It’s too good not to pass along. The conversation went like this…”

    Iranian Air Defense Radar: ‘Unknown aircraft you are in Iranian airspace. Identify yourself.’Aircraft:

    ‘This is a United States aircraft. I am in Iraqi airspace.

    ‘Air Defense Radar: ‘You are in Iranian airspace. If you do not depart our airspace we will launch interceptor aircraft!

    ‘Aircraft: ‘This is a United States Marine Corps FA-18 fighter. Send ‘em up, I’ll wait….

    ‘Air Defense Radar: (no response ….. total silence)
