But we also need to give Rachel Carson credit for getting DDT banned, one of the main reasons that a million or so people a year die from malaria, mostly in Africa. Nice job! Newer data indicates we're moving into a cooling period once again while the pols are still operating under GW, so the end result will be the same, the temperatures will decline of their own accord but the government will get to take credit for it because they got their crap legislation and international accords in ahead of the real cool off. That is, unless we can manage to kill it. Perfect timing, no? but…
