They know that even in my own energy-producing state we have billions of barrels of oil and hundreds of trillions of cubic feet of clean, green natural gas. And we’re building a nearly $40 billion natural gas pipeline which is North America’s largest and most you expensive infrastructure project ever to flow those sources of energy into hungry markets.

Barack Obama and Sen. Biden, you’ve said no to everything in trying to find a domestic solution to the energy crisis that we’re in. You even called drilling — safe, environmentally-friendly drilling offshore as raping the outer continental shelf.

There — with new technology, with tiny footprints even on land, it is safe to drill and we need to do more of that. But also in that “all of the above” approach that Sen. McCain supports, the alternative fuels will be tapped into: the nuclear, the clean coal.

I was surprised to hear you mention that because you had said that there isn’t anything — such a thing as clean coal. And I think you said it in a rope line, too, at one of your rallies.

IFILL: We do need to keep within our two minutes. But I just wanted to ask you, do you support capping carbon emissions?

PALIN: I do. I do.

Second, if she did not support a cap and trade program why did she support one while running as Vice President? She may have been vague with the press but the campaign was clear in their wording. Palin could have easily said she could not support that particular idea and ask politely not to be included in that policy statement. She did not, so I have to believe she supported it at the time. That is the complete reverse of position in her oped piece. See the discrepancy?

If Palin did not support cap and trade program then why did she allow McCain to say THEY would both propose one? And I provided you with direct quotes from Palin, not just the cabinet she put together, about carbon emissions being part of her climate change strategy.

Again, you haven’t addressed the discrepancy, you have just made excuses.

Besides, you’re still not thinking independently but looking for someone else to provide you all the answers. Did you even read the links you provided or did you just scroll to your “money” quotes?

Governor Palin also set up a Climate Change Sub-Cabinet in Alaska where she states.

If she believed man had no impact on climate change why would she be a supporter of “low-carbon energy” as an element of Alaska’s climate change strategy?

If she is doubtful about manmade global warming, what exactly would be the purpose of cap and tax?
