How to ruin a professional agitation group’s day.

It’s actually not that hard.

  1. Figure out which professional agitation group typically runs faux-populist demonstrations in your area.
  2. Subscribe to their email list and/or website.
  3. DO NOT ENGAGE THEM IN CONVERSATION AND/OR DISCUSSION. You merely want to keep up with what they’re doing.
  4. When they announce a protest, note the time and date.
  5. Contact your local, actual conservative grassroots group.
  6. On the day of the event, swamp them ten to one. (Via Instapundit)
  7. Nicely.
  8. Politely.
  9. Smile a lot.
  10. Bring cameras. Because they’re going to violate 7, 8, & 9 themselves, and you want that recorded.

These groups use strategic camera shots, a largely disinterested local press looking for local color, and a general lack of counter-protesters to come across as more powerful and effectual than they actually are. Right now they can get away with getting twenty people out to a local event and calling it “grassroots activism.”  Make it clear that they’re ridiculously outnumbered, and they’ll have to start spending more and more resources to accomplish their goals, such as they are.

PS: None of this should stop people from having their own protests, of course. But counter-protests are much easier to put together… if you have the people to do it. We do. They don’t.

ACORN needs more federal dollars in order to hire 400 “volunteers” instead of only 4 so that they can overwhelm the 40 average citizens who showed up.

is getting out there and shouting from the rooftops. It is apparent that ACORN and their likeminded soulsuckers are not used to having anyone get in their face. This is WAR and these little battles are what will win the day!

…which is not unreasonable, once you put in healthcare, administrative fees, union dues, retirement pay, and 10% off the top for the leadership’s private funds, that works out to an extra sixty-four grand per eight-hour protest.

Rep. Tom Perriello (D-VA.-5th District), known locally as “One Term Tommy”, has been running into some real resistence with his support of Cap and Trade, and most recently with his most likely support of Obamacare, should it ever come to a vote. He has offices in Charlottesville and Danville, both overwhelmingly Democrat- 73-74% in each city.

Shortly after the Cap and Trade bill passage in the House, the local Tea Party organizer held a rally at his office in Cville. The TP organizer called his office, and, invited Perriello to attend, and to answer questions from his constituients. His office said he would not be attending, as he was not in town that day, while he was just a few miles away at UVA for some event.

The same TP people held another protest rally at his Cville office to ask him not to support Obamacare. 40 minutes into the event, the police arrived, and told the attendees to please leave. It is believed his staff were the ones that called the police.

About 2 weeks ago, Perriello held a “townhall” event on a private farm in a very rural area of VA, Blairs, which has a total population of about 2,200. It is just north of his Danville office. Steven Chu, Secretary of Energy, and, Tom Vilsack, Energy Secretary were speakers at the event. The event was to push for “Green jobs” in Virginia. The 2 Tea Party organizers, as well as the campaign manager for a Republican running against Periello in 2010, from Danville attended, and wanted to ask Perriello not to support Obamacare. They had signs with them. A plainclothes policeman asked them to leave as soon as he saw the signs. They left peacefully, and went to a local restaurant. They observed an unmarked police car pull up, and the cop called in their license plate numbers. A few days later they were “interviewed” at their homes by VA State Police. The police wanted to know why they were at the Blairs event, and wanted lists of all they were there with. There is no question they are now on Janet Napolitano’s list of terrorists. They are not giving up, and it has been a story locally that has not died down any more than the Gates/Obama story.

Pelosi said that the Tea Party people were only astroturfing, and some other Liberal said that they are just “used tea baggers.” If the Tea Party people were so nothing, why resort to visits from the State Police, and why worry about building a list of the Oranizers and those that attend?

We had a local tea party where over 3000 patriots showed for a city council key vote on a local $200 million boondoggle. It when down in flames. Same people are useful for many functions.

It’s time to stand for America.

1 Memorize your talking points, make sure everyone is on the same page

2 Hand out information, a simple one page cover letter or flyer be polite and professional and then add information from different professional organizations

3 Establish communications and dialog with the police if you can, always suspect then of possible hostility so don?t give them a reason. Inform them of the history and possibility of false complaints. This sometimes does not work so be polite when they show and don?t be intimidated.

I am deep behind enemy lines of Western Mass, yes liberal La-La Land in the happy valley. I helped organize a tea party here that was a huge success and I am standing out almost every week in protest.

We are already forming a professional counter strike force here with intelligence, logistics, training and foot soldiers. I strongly advise everyone to do the same in your community. I have been intimidated by the police, stood out in thunderstorms and called every name in the book yet I am still going strong.

The word ?Freedom is Not Free? has become more clich? then a call to arms to some. ?We the People? as written buy our forefathers is seen by too many as just some old words and some have for gotten their true meaning. It is not ?we the government?, it is ?We the People? You know the term ?use it or lose it?, well we had better start using it because we are coming real close to losing it. We had better stop thinking this is only a social event to meet new people or plagiarize for membership. This is a fight and we are fighting a war, this is the cold hard simple fact. The enemy is not playing fairly and not playing by the same lawful rule book we prescribe to, so we must be better, faster and stronger. This is a boots on the ground fight, do or die reality, not a virtual reality gab fest.

    And one more?
