The *confessed* un-Americanism of SEIU.

By the Speaker's own words, no less.

Ah, the problems with message discipline. Specifically: the problems with having the current Speaker of the House write things like “Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American” without checking to see first whether her minions over at SEIU are advocating doing precisely that:

Action: Opponents of reform are organizing counter-demonstrators to speak at this and several congressional town halls on the issue to defend the status quo. It is critical that our members with real, personal stories about the need for access to quality, affordable care come out in strong numbers to drown out their voices.

All via @JTlol and Perfunction: the latter has a few more of SEIU’s confessions of un-American behavior.

The above link is to Mary Katharine Ham, as SEIU’s MiniTruth has already memory-holed the offending thoughtcrime. Although there was no reason to bother, given that there is of course a screenshot.  These people keep making the most boneheaded mistakes; you might be forgiven for getting the impression that the vaunted power and reach of the progressive activist movement is mostly due to having no real opposition up to this point…

A close friend (yes, I have a few) told that he was recruited for a $15/hr job to promote the health care legislation. This was in April of 2009, in New York City. At that point there was no legislation and New Yorkers were going to buy the darn thing without regard to what it looked like.

I could be more thrilled that a friend who desperately needed a job walked away from something so morally compromising.

The more they try to suppress opposing voices, the louder those voices will become. Americans are waking up-Sleeping Giant?

Obamacare would create a huge bureaucracy that would be staffed with SEIU members (most government workers are SEIU members). SEIU would collect a windfall in new union dues which would be fed back into Democrat politician?s campaign coffers.
It is about a permanent funding mechanism for the Democrat party.
Look at this info from Open Secrets….

These dems have raked in the most cash from union contributions.

Hoyer tops the list with $3,596,358
Edward Kennedy is 2nd with $2,741,591
    Pelosi is 3rd with $2,737,550

Just counter Pelosi and Hoyer un-American accusations with these facts. National Health Care is a Union Trojan Horse…..
