FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

This is how they see you (image may be NSFW).

[UPDATE]: I’ve had a copy of the image sent to me that includes the URL.  The Google cache for the site is here; as you can see, not only did the image originate from the site, but the author him/herself was present at the Reston Town Hall, writing posts about it.  I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that I think that we’ve established that the flier found below represents a deliberate attempt by the Left to incite racially-motivated hate against the Right.

I apologize in advance for the ugly and graphic nature of the image that will be available for viewing after the fold: I would prefer not to show it, but unfortunately somebody decided that it was suitable for distribution after the Reston, VA Town Hall – and I can’t actually talk about it without showing it.

…Yeah. See also The Blog Prof, Weasel Zippers, American Power, Gateway Pundit, and Marooned in Marin: the image comes from Restonian, which is claiming a virtuous motive in removing from the flyer the URL of the group that  disseminated this racist garbage – a claim which I personally don’t believe for a second, although you’re welcome to check their archives and make up your own minds.  Still, even Restonian concedes that the URL that was removed from the original flier is for an anti-Tea Party website (I screenshotted that admission, by the way); and the ‘artist’ is one Mike Flugennock, a Hard Lefty (and, apparently, a closet racist) from the area.  I see no reason to pretend that it was anything except an attack on the people opposing health care rationing.

I present all of this for educational purposes, not ideological.  You need to know what they think of you.  Particularly when they sort of don’t want you to know what they think of you.

Moe Lane

PS: I’d be fascinated to see the original URL associated with this flyer, myself.

PPS: The 9/12 DC Tea Party site is here.

Crossposted to Moe Lane.

PPPS: Slightly edited for clarity.

    I’m not sure what you mean by you’d be fascinated to see the original URL associated with this flier. Just hitting your Wikipedia link sent me to Flugennock’s website where he posted the image back on July 23;

  • gahazzah

    I understand your point now.

Had to bounce through all the stories, there was a URL on the bottom of the flier when the image was disseminated that was obscured by Restorian thereby implying that a right-of-center group put it out, even though a leftist created it.

    Gotcha.

  • http://moelane.com/ Moe Lane

    Moe,

I hope this is not too much of a thread jack, but I found this video of goings on recently over in Fairfax County VA. It’s just not the MSM it seems, it’s the state in the form of some police officers suppressing free speech, or at least speech that challenges Dear Leader Obama.

    …and the News Media.

Can’t they get a new act?

Jeez, that racism thing is old.

The wacko left is really wierd in a way. They do stuff like this that telly ou they have a superiority complex under which they think that those who disagree with them are all stupid, or racists or whatever.

However they are also self-loathers and are ashamed of their country.

So, they see their country (ie: themselves) as less evolved and inferior to others (ie: most of Western Europe), and they see us as less evolved and inferior to themselves.

I for one wish they spent half as much time hating on terrorists who want to kill them as they spend hating on law-abiding Americans who just happen to disagree with them.

The lefty schtick is to create a caricature of us, and then debate against that caricature instead of actually acknowledging our ideas in the discussion. And they cap it off by claiming that WE are drowning out the real issues. Ours is a Brave New World indeed.

And THEIR KKK lynch another black guy … That’s all I see. Ask Sen Sheets Byrd while there is still time, about the history of the Democrats terror wing, the KKK.

Yes all the Jim Crow Laws, all the Black Codes all the lynching of both blacks and the Democrats white opponents, all done in the name of Democrat power.

Heck Sen Byrd led the filibuster of the 1964 Civil Rights Bill.

As we’ve seen ad infinitum over the years, when Liberals can’t back up their propaganda-based diatribe with facts.. they resort to personal attacks…

… and frankly… he who brings up racism… is the racist to begin with… and liberals have proven that over and over.

This cartoon just shows we’ve won the argument. Now its time for the smackdown!

writes things like this in an editorial in one of our little local newspapers.:

“I believe it is important that no one yell at President Obama during his vacation. He has certainly had enough of that recently. He needs some peace—-some down time. He needs to recharge using some Vineyard sun and wind. The president must get away from talk radio, tea bag protestors and cap and trade.”

Among other things, I’m disappointed, but not surprised, that he chose “tea bag” and not “town hall”. It only further legitimizes that caricature you describe.

They see us as the enemy. They want to destroy each and every conservative who knows, understands, and believes in the principles that the Constitution was based on. They want to create a socialist utopia in the US, but they apparently haven’t learned the lesson of socialism, which is that the only way socialism can work is if it is conjoined with an extremely strong attachment to Christianity. Of the Owen and Fourier inspired, atheist socialist communes that were established in the 19th century, every single one failed within a couple of years. Such was the fate of the communist phase at Jamestown VA and Plymouth MA as well. Some, but not all of the Christian socialist groups, such as the Shakers, Moravians, and Rappists, survived for a long time as communities. The human spirit is not compatible with socialism, unless there is a strong admixture of Christianity. I suppose it is possible to have another religion that supports a socialist society in a way that makes the people who live there happy with their lot, but I haven’t seen it. In any case, the socialists who are at war with us certainly do not want to establish any religion of self-abnegation. But since they are at war with us we must fight back. We can’t let them be the only ones who ever attack. Defense is a strategy for losers. Do we want to lose?

  • http://charlemagne-the-hammer.blogspot.com/ DerKrieger

…has absolutely no impact on me whatsoever. And I suspect the same is true of many Conservatives. It’s a dull blade of a weapon.

  • http://beaglescout.wordpress.com LJ “Beaglescout” Miller

He happily claims responsibility for the whole thing. Just in case he disappears his page down the memory hole, here it is.

The recent Teabaggers’ Shindig over at Senate Park has certainly left me inspired, to say the least. Never did I hear a gang of astroturfers yell more loudly about not being astroturfers even as they were funded by PACs run by characters like Tom DeLay and (snurf, giggle) Dick Armey, and never did I hear more yelling from a group about how they aren’t about Left or Right, even while they never missed an opportunity to slag on the Left — or even on ordinary Liberals, for that matter — as the lot it was my fortune to cover this past Fourth Of July.

What got me even more was their total ignorance of the causes and effects of events that happened before January 20, 2009 — forgetting, for instance, that the current corporate bailout fiasco was pushed by George W. Bush. Listening to the howls from the stage and checking out the composition of the crowd, it was as if the single reaction from the Teabagger Massmind boiled down to “OMFG, the President is a N1GG3R!” — like the old-timer in Mel Brooks’ Blazing Saddles, hollering from the top of the church steeple, “Here comes the new sherriff, and he’s a big…” …and it sure as hell didn’t help any as their event was organized and staged by members of a well-known White Power band, Pokerface.

So, considering all this, I thought to myself, “Self, it’s time you did a poster that announces the imminent arrival of the National Teabaggers’ Convention coming to town on the 12th of September, and maybe inspire some of the local anarchists and antifascists to organize a little welcoming committee.” So, I did.

Did you REALLY intend to join the ranks of Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow, and insult those regular “folks” you’re supposedly looking out for?

for my weekend in DC for the 9/12 protest. Plane ticket cost $350; hotel room @ $120/nite (i have a “regular’s discount” at a Capitol Hill hotel), cab fares $100 plus, food, parking my car at IAH while I’m gone ($60), various tips to skycaps and bellhops ($40)…. let’s see, then there’s the value of my time.

Hmmm… so all in all, this little jaunt to DC is costing me at least $1K out of pocket, not counting lost revenue. Plus I have to get up at an unGodly hour Sunday morning to fly back to Houston in time for the noon kickoff of the season’s first home NFL football game. (Tickets and parking @ $230; so I’m getting myself home as that money’s spent!)

I was a small child, didn’t understand the black/white thing or politics, but I ~knew~ this was wrong. It was tense; it was hateful; it was frightening.

It was the worst incidence of racism I’ve ever witnessed, and there wasn’t a Republican in sight.

Moe’s right—-the newly awakened, formerly dormant, passive, disengaged middle are the one’s not used to the racism and dirty tricks of the hard left. This is a huge shock to them. However, what’s really marvelous is the bravery and patriotism of all you regular ordinary people going out and making your voices heard and using the technology we have so that we can record and upload the egregious and reprehensible behaviors of Obama’s thugs, i.e. the orders from the oval office to “hit back twice as hard.” It’s marvelous to get the truth out. This makes a huge difference. I recall back in 2000—doing protests—-the thuggish lefties got away with more intimidation because it wasn’t as easy to record , upload and publicize their dirty tricks! So, the stay on the couch middle were more easily tricked into believing that baloney about “vast right wing conspiracy!” For my own Dem-middle relatives—it’s been a real wake=up call for them to watch the state run media—and then to get the truth from email links to video clips like the Reston un-american stuff.
