On a local Tea Party website, there have been some really really Liberals trying to get their propaganda out. I asked if this person was being paid by ACORN or the SEIU, this was Steves response-

I come here and post because I think the greatest threat to our country is ignorance and dishonesty and this site (and many more like it) is a hotbed of both. No one asked me to, no one pays me to, and as long as it is a free country I will continue to do it whenever the feeling moves me. While I voted for Perriello (thank God we finally got rid of that imbecile Goode), that is the extent of my relationship with him or it organization. As for ACORN, I have only the vaguest of notions of what it is/does (though I am well aware that you think they constitute a sign of the end of days). And I don?t even know what SEIU stands for. I tell you these tidbits fully expecting you to respond that this simply goes to show the extent and effectiveness of leftist, liberal ?indoctrination? and to let you know that I am unafraid of your paranoia and your hopelessly circular and unfounded reasoning.

Of course, the keeper of this site has the right to limit who can and cannot exercise their right to freedom of speech in this forum, but that would seem too blatantly hypocritical even for the self-appointed defenders of freedom to try. Though given that hypocrisy is a such a strong suit of your movement I?m sure you are aleady working on ways to do just that.

Let me be perfectly clear. You and those you ?pal around with? have no monopoly on what is and what is not American and you should be ashamed and embarrassed by the enormous hypocrisy and presumption that you do. You and your ilk have slandered our President and his office since the day he was justly elected to it. Nay, you and your ilk have slandered him personally since the moment it became apparent that he was a force of intelligence, integrity, and moral character of the highest order and your lame-ass candidates didn?t stand a snowball?s chance in Hell against him. And rather than engage him or the opposition more broadly in terms of sound, intelligent, reasoned debate you have resorted to smear and scare tactics (unconsciously on your part I?m sure because you clearly don?t have the capacity for the slightest amount of self-reflection to understand what you are really doing, though your unthinking and constant repetition of this clap-trap feeds right in to those more powerful than you for whom it is a very deliberate strategy). Your gang?s charges of ?terrorist,? ?non-patriot? It is precisely the same type of argument that for hundreds of years was used to justify race-based slavery (it is okay so long as you believe that those enslaved are less than human, ?less than us?) and more than half a century to prop up racist segregationist and discrimantory policy. The fact of the matter is that Barack Hussein Obama is as much an American as you or I and, furthermore, the social and political policies that his administration is pursuing are woven into the very fiber, history, and philosophy of our great nation, and indeed the roots of this so-called ?liberalism? go far deeper than that. ?Love thy neighbor? and ?Do unto others as you would have them do unto you? are both tenents grounded in notions of ?social justice.?

If you are so naive and uneducated to believe that those who hold political, social, and/or religious views different to yours should leave America for being ?unAmerican? than you truly are a threat to the fundamental principals upon which our country was founded and you can be assured that I will fight this threat and the spread of such ignorance until my last breath. Just to leave you with a little more ?propaganda,? another sip of the so-called Kool-Aid you think I drinking, here?s a passage from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson that supports my contention that notions of ?social justice? are not ideas dreamed up by ?outsiders? trying to rob ?true Americans? of their imagined ?Constitutionally guaranteed rights:?

Excerpt from a letter from Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, France, October 28, 1785. [Please note that he is writing conditions iin France and comparing them to the newly born United States. And please read all the way to the last sentence]:

?As soon as I had got clear of the town I fell in with a poor woman walking at the same rate with myself and going the same course. Wishing to know the condition of the laboring poor I entered into conversation with her, which I began by enquiries for the path which would lead me into the mountain: and thence proceeded to enquiries into her vocation, condition and circumstances. She told me she was a day laborer at 8 sous or 4d. sterling the day: that she had two children to maintain, and to pay a rent of 30 livres for her house (which would consume the hire of 75 days), that often she could get no employment and of course was without bread. But after all there comes the most numerous of all classes, that is, the poor who cannot find work.
