(Via @JTlol)This time, it’s Brooklyn. Which, as Big Government gleefully points out, is part of New York, which is one of the places that ACORN claims that the producers tried this sting and failed.
Second part of the video at the site: your call if they failed or not.
A couple of more things:
- This isn’t the last one, either. Context clues indicate at least one more.
- Three is enough to note a trend.
- This point from Big Hollywood (via Ed Driscoll and Instapundit) is pretty important:
The Dinosaur Media is losing money, viewers and readers hand over fist. The reason they’re folding or on life support isn’t because there aren’t enough left-of-center Americans to keep them in business, it’s because, like everyone else, liberals don’t want to sit in a choir and be preached to. They want information. They want to know what’s going on in the world.
Our liberal friends may not like hearing Van Jones, the NEA and ACORN are under fire, but they still want to know. What a disappointing revelation it must be to open the New York Times or turn on the network news only to discover after the curtain has already fallen that one of Obama’s Czars was forced to resign or that the U.S. Census Bureau let ACORN go.
The liberal media is failing for the exact same reason a dozen-plus anti-war films flopped: propaganda is dull.
A point that I had not considered, honestly. And it’s a good one.

Breitbart played ACORN like a drum
bk (Diary) Monday, September 14th at 8:45AM EST (link)Release Baltimore tape. Reaction: “This is the exception. They tried it at other offices and failed. Only 25% of our offices are crooked, which qualifies as ‘coincidence’ for us lefties.”
Release Washington tape. Reaction: “The tape was altered in hateful way by these racists. We fired the people involved even though they really weren’t regular employees. (Hey somebody check with all our other offices. QUICK!)”
Release Brooklyn tape. Reaction: TBD
My thoughts exactly!
Tom Anderson (Diary) Monday, September 14th at 9:02AM EST (link)Wonder how the Obamabots are going to spin this one? They’ve already tried the “isolated incident” card and it failed. Now they’ve trotted out the ever-popular race card, which I predict will fail as well. Now that a third office has been caught and revealed – especially one where ACORN said O’Keefe and Giles had failed – I can’t imagine the hate a bile that will be spewed…
“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

Hmmmm, ACORN is probably wondering how many tapes are out there?
izoneguy (Diary) Monday, September 14th at 9:11AM EST (link)They can’t run away from this. At the rate it is going everyone will have to be fired. I think this proves something is rotten to the core with ACORN. Congress needs to get on the stick and demand that ACORN close and investigations open into where all the tax & stimulus dollars are going. My gut feeling is that all of this will have to wait until the liar & thief are gone, along with his corrupt cabinet.
The point cannot be made often enough: Modern liberalism, as embodied in the Obama presidency, is the defender of the status quo. And the status quo is a road to economic ruin. Political forces cannot redistribute the wealth that the economic system does not produce.
Best part, we don't KNOW how many tapes there are
smitty Monday, September 14th at 11:01AM EST (link)Well played so far. As has been said above, the release of these has been as crucial as the content. I wonder how many more there are?

janis (Diary) Monday, September 14th at 9:23AM EST (link)When this guy got elected, we expected swift, ruthless moves to accomplish his agenda. And that happened initially. Yet now, his initiatives appear to be stalled and, if passed at all, will be but a shadow of their former selves. I’m not saying we should relax, not at all.
But do we have him anywhere close to on the ropes by now, a short 9 months later?
No, and these people are most dangerous on the ropes.
Achance (Diary) Monday, September 14th at 9:44AM EST (link)Your goal is to get them on the ropes, panicked, and provoked to do something stupid so you can administer the coup d’grace. Even if they were, we aren’t in a position to do anything to them. If we really got Comrade Obama on the ropes, half of the so-called Republican/conservative leadership in DC would come to his rescue and try to repudiate us.
We on the Right have no real leadership and no political program. If Comrade Obama and the Democrats suddenly abdicated, we wouldn’t know what to do and probably that old slug McCain would see himself as the annoited leader of the Right, he and Grahamnest sure are acting like they’re campaigning for President together in SC today.
Anyway, to your first point, while Democrats are much better at getting a government to do what they want than are Republicans, even for them moving government is like pushing a rope; it doesn’t always go where you want it to. I think their play for pay reflex got the best of them. The corporate healthcare providers and SEIU have been in league for sometime. Many of the big chain hospitals and clinics voluntarily accepted unionization by SEIU so they could combine their efforts and power to get nationalized healthcare. They called in their chit on Comrade Obama and on Pelosi/Reid, since CA was the locus of SEIU’s efforts. I think going for healthcare first was perhaps a mortal wound to Comrade Obama’s coup attempt. Unlike card check, nationalized healthcare is something that real live, voting, regular people can immediately and emotionally relate to and the have unleashed the whirlwind. They may yet get a bill, but it will be nothing like what they wanted. It has also demonstrated that there are chinks in Comrade Obama’s armor. It has even motivated a few Republicans to find some vital parts of their bodies that they aren’t accustomed to using, though certainly not enough of them.
So, I think they go all in for card check after whatever the outcome of healthcare is established. Getting cardcheck passed is the only way they can avoid a terrible retribution from the voters in ’10 and ’12. Fundamentally, I think Comrade Obama was way too busy lording it over us, travelling the world, and generally enjoying basking in the radiated glow of his wondrous presence and let his plan slip. A good communist organizer, as opposed to an affirmative action hire communist organizer, would have struck swiftly and effectively. BHO was gazing at himself in the mirror when he should have been working.

janis (Diary) Monday, September 14th at 9:55AM EST (link)and prayer that the last thing you said in your comment will continue to be BHO’s biggest weakness– his deep and abiding love of himself. I have no doubt that they will do as you say on card check, but way too many people are watching this bunch like hawks at this point. It will be interesting to see what happens when enough of them understand what card check will mean for this country.
Those who were awakened by the healthcare debate aren’t going back to sleep. They are fully engaged now, many of them are in our age range and they aren’t inclined to sit down and shut up at this point–certainly not for Obama, and, more to the point, not for the usual suspects in the R party either. I think we’ve finally reached the point where both parties are in almost equal peril of being turned upside down.

We need some Red State AGs to step up and stop
Achance (Diary) Monday, September 14th at 10:05AM EST (link)feeding the hand that bites us. Most of the Democrat front groups are just as much criminal enterprises as ACORN. At the state level we can’t do much about all the federal money appropriated directly to all the front groups, but we can sure do something about all the federal money that goes through and/or is match by our states. I’ll guarantee you that not one in a thousand of these outfits can stand any sort of scrutiny about how they perform on their grants and contracts, how they spend the money, how they report it, etc. Since so much of it is social welfare money a lot of it goes to blue enclaves in our Red states, and we know how corrupt Blue city governments are; see, e.g. NOLA. So, this has to be done at the state level and I can’t for the life of me figure out why Republcan governors and legislatures aren’t going after the hand that bites them.
Of course, the flip side of that is that those Republcan governors and legislatures will have to be Caesar’s wife, and even that might not be enough, because Comrade Obama and his lackeys actually know how to use the DOJ and the IRS against their enemies.

janis (Diary) Monday, September 14th at 10:09AM EST (link)But I’m struck by the amount of disorder that his agenda is in. I agree on the ruthlessness with which we must act in order to continue to expose the depth of corruption that exists here.
The MSM has created a monster by choosing to shill so relentlessly for Obama and Co. Had they displayed even a modicum of fairness in their reporting, we might not have the ferocity of resolve that is growing daily, hourly, to expose all of them for the America-hating tyrants that they are. When they and their agenda end up in the rubble of their dreams, they will have themselves to thank for it.
And so will we. May they continue to be as fecklessly stupid and dishonest as they have been to date. And may their supporters continue to assume that Obama’s election gave all of them permission to act out their nastiest little dramas. Yes, they’re dangerous, but they’ve always been so. But now they’re dangerous right out front and center where we can see them.

AceInTX (Diary) Monday, September 14th at 10:25AM EST (link)and the girl who played the prostitute in this sting says she had emptied out her accounts pursuing this story.
I’m only guessing at this but were I going to do what these reporters have done…I would figure Acorn would do what they did after the first video came out and act like it was just a couple of rogue employees limited to this one office who were responsible and try to go on as if there were nothing more there.
As such, as a reporter…I’d make a splash with one video…and disappear after the because the story would be over. Given what I know, and believe about this organization…if I wanted to destroy it…and make a name for myself in the doing…I’d spend a coupe years…go from ACORN office to ACORN office…and run this sting on each and every one of them. By doing so, I’d expose the fact that there aren’t just a few bad actors in various ACORN offices…I’d then be exposing the fact that ACORN is a corrupt organization from to to bottom!
So she’s been out there doing this for at least 8 years…I’m guessing there are dozens of them that they were able to obtain proving ACORN to be a criminal enterprise. …I think we’re in for a new video every single day for a long time to come from these heroes of journalism…

ACORN is so morally deficient they couldn’t care less if an 8 year old child was used for prostitution. From what I understand ACORN has already gotten something like 53 million in government funds, they have been at their game for a long time. Giles looks may not have changed much in 4 years, especially with the 10 pounds of makeup she was wearing. Then on the other hand, why would the team keep this under wraps for 4 years, unless they wanted to get as much dirt as they could, until they exposed as much as they could. Last week I heard Breitbart talking about getting a call from O’Keefe, and wanting to meet with him about some really big news that he had on film. I also already posted about the Chris Wallace “beat the crap out of Joe Wilson” sunday show. He then so kindly reported on the great work of the SEUI. O’Reilly left his area of greatness of being a child advocate, when he took up political talk. Hannity = all light and no heat.
H (Diary) Monday, September 14th at 2:11PM EST (link)Hannity = all light and no heat. I suspect this may be why his name simply doesn’t come up much in thoughtful conservative forums.
I considered Hannity a conservative medial ally – that is, until the last republican presidential primaries when he gave an otherwise respectful and intelligent catholic priest a most vicious and brutal verbal beat-down – coming close to calling him a child-molester – when the priest committed the mortal sin (in Hannity’s mind) of questioning Rudy Giuliano’s conservative credentials, in particular his stance on abortion. Truly a defining “Lonesome Rhodes moment” for Hannity if anyone in the media ever had one.
