Let’s keep this one simple (H/T: AoSHQ Headlines):

Q. Why is it that a bill to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act – one with more than 90 Congressional supporters – will apparently not even make it to the House floor?
A. Because Rep. Barney Franks – who is not one of the supporters – was blunt about why he wasn’t a supporter: the Democrats don’t have the votes for it.

Q. Don’t the Democrats control Congress?
A. Yes.

(pause)

Q. Didn’t they campaign on this is…
A. (Interrupting) They lied.

    There’s no unity.

    Which is why I know my brothers and sisters will get the troops they need. Dems don’t have the votes (or the balls) to say no, and even if they stall until 2010 my brothers and sisters will fight on and wait until patriotic Republicans replace them.

    You know what’s better than the President not getting elected?

    Obama getting elected, failing at it, and then having to leave, because the American people told him to roll. That’s going to be the greatest part of 2013.

    I think there will be a great ground swell of the voters throwing out the bums who have been trashing the country. The truth about barrys birth certificate will finally come out and now there will be honest people in the house (maybe the Senate too :) ) and he will be impeached for lying about even being an American Citizen.
