This is the key battle both for Conservatism in the Republican Party (affirmation of the GOP Platform) and against the Obamao agenda – in many respects. I do NOT doubt there are many of those Moderate Republicans in the GOP leadership might be secretly hoping Hoffman fails and they can use it as an excuse to push more McCainism in the Party. We need to push Hoffman so far over the top it reaffirms the Republicans must be the Party of NO [to Bigger Govt.] not the Party of SLOW[er Liberal Incremental-ism] message… neigh… DEMAND!!!

But I haven’t received any replies to my request for information on where to go, etc. If I get info back tonight, I’ll be on a plane first thing tomorrow.

  • redtillimdead

They have a list in a bar on his site, i’m sure they have something for you to do

  • Hooah_Mac

I don’t know anything about the area, I’m not even sure what airport to come in to.

  • redneck_hippie

An airline could maybe give you some help.

  • Hooah_Mac

I just got off the phone with someone at the Watertown office, he’ll be getting back to me shortly with all the info I need.

Just did a quick google search. Not sure how many commercial flights go there though, if not, Vermont (do they have major airports?) would be your best bet. Syracuse looks to be right outside the district. They would likely have more flights. I have no local knowledge, so do some more research before taking my word. From Syracuse though, the Oswego offices would be best.

Read the following OpEd from the NYTimes. If this doesn’t define what we are up against I don’t know what would.

To the House, but I don’t think we are going to be focusing on House elections as much as Senate elections.

  • ocleverone

That is totally awesome. I wish I could join you but I am hitting the ground for McDonnell & team.

Please everyone, join the phone banks, pound the ground, work the polls, volunteer – get out the vote!

After you vote, consider heading to one of the campaign headquarters and make calls to get people to the polls.

We can do this – we must do this!

I’ll be in Watertown by 2pm tomorrow. I’ll definitely keep you all posted.

  • californiasam

http://www.harmerforcongress.com/default.htm use the volunteer link, or better yet, scroll to the bottom of the page and either phone them or just show up at headquarters.

We could win this one, but even if we don’t, just getting close will rattle the libs. We can all do What Susan Can Do. Now.

It is still a longshot, but if you look at the PPP polling data of Obama’s approval numbers and the levels of conservative enthusiasim in NY-23, New Jersey, and Virginia, you can see where republicans can really run up their numbers. CA-10 may end up being a lot closer than some expect on election night, and some people are going to be upset we didn’t focus more on it to put Harmer over the top.

PPP polling: Hoffman, Cristie, and McDonald all up! Let’s pull in CA-10 for Harmer!

…living here in AR but I signed up to be a volunteer. Maybe I can make phone calls.

All that money the RNC wasted on Scuzzy could have given to Harmer!

  • redtillimdead

They had canceled it b/c they had made so many today

  • redtillimdead

We all appreciate you doing what we can’t! Make us proud!

  • clement

They are saying Hoffman easily and now…

    http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/2009/11/christie-leads.html

Christie wins 47-41 much more of a split then past polls. (I suppose some of that could be people making up their minds, but I sure hope this to be true)

  • Aaron Gardner

If that holds true we could very well sweep these special elections.

  • californiasam

The CA special election in May was a clear cry against taxes in “The Golden State.” Harmer is the fiscal conservative, the Dem, obviously, is not.

I was walking precincts today (first time since high school) and found that lots of folks just didn’t know about this election. If you know any conservatives in Contra Costa, Alameda or Solano counties in California, please call them and let them know how important this is.

Also, just talked to the Harmer staff and they’re ready for any help you can offer. http://www.harmerforcongress.com/

It’s time for the foot soldiers to do their thing. Energy and intensity is on the side of the conservatives thanks to Barry Boy. Now it’s time for that intensity to bear fruit….http://cooperscopy.blogspot.com/

Wish I could be there to help, but I’m way on the other side of the country. I’ll be rooting for you all to get out the biggest conservative vote ever……
