Big Government’s open about the fact that this is an issue:
Will Corzine Allies Steal the Election in New Jersey? ACORN, Dirty Tricks and Absentee Ballot Fraud
New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine is locked in the political fight of his life. With just hours left before voting, polls show a neck-and-neck race between Corzine and GOP candidate Chris Christie, with Independent candidate Chris Daggett pulling significant support. Obama and VP Biden are making last ditch pitches for the embattled governor. But evidence is building that Corzine’s campaign may see its only salvation is in rigging the election.
What can you do about it?
- If you’re a NJ voter, then vote for Chris Christie. As the saying goes: if it isn’t close, they can’t cheat.
- If you have a video camera, make sure that you’re in the area of a vulnerable polling station (officially or not) and keep a lookout for shenanigans. Go in a group, be prepared to run, and remember that the idea is to shine a light on skulduggery, not strike a blow for fair elections via street fighting. Let the Democrats scream curses and vitriol at you.
- If you don’t have a video camera, go volunteer . Also: get a video camera. We’ll have to do this again next year.

Election Fraud 101:
Achance (Diary) Monday, November 2nd at 12:49PM EST (link)Republicans/conservatives are doing lots of things that they’d never done before Comrade Obama and his ACORN brownshirts came to power. So, since Rs aren’t much on voter fraud, here’s how you do it so you know what you’re looking for and what to do. If at all possible, observe with a partner. Dress neatly but not conspicuously. Have good ID and have pre-arranged check-ins with somebody who knows what you’re doing. Give them instructions to come look for you if you don’t call in and if you’re not there, they are to report you missing to the cops. Make sure your cell phone has a full charge and take a spare battery if you have one. Have a credit card with enough room for $500 -1000 bail – or more in really Blue cities. Have a small digital or video camera. Make sure the time and date are set right and have a witness that you have set the time and date, preferably one not related to you. You don’t have to tell anyone what you’re doing there as long as you’re on public property, but it might get uncomfortable. Just say you’re doing a research project for a class you’re taking or a book/article you’re writing. If a cop tells you to move along, do it, but report it to the Party.
First, we aren’t talking about the kind of fraud that got Franken elected so much; that was done mostly in the counting and is the province of lawyers and party operatives. We’re talking about old-fashioned urban/union machine fraud at the polling place.
There’ll be official observers at the point where you are checked for having been registered and are given your ballot. Sometimes even these official Party observers are operatives in the fraud but usually not so look for somebody else working a list as people check in. That person could be a part of a legitimate GOTV effort and as the day wears on, they communicate with the phone bank people and they start trying to rouse people who haven’t voted yet to go vote. People who do this usually aren’t friends of anyone we know but it is an honest endeavor by unions and other groups to get their vote out. But, that information on who has and hasn’t voted can also be used for other things. The gold standard is a registered voter that doesn’t exist; ACORN specializes in this. If it is a tight race, you need all your dead, non-existent, or out of the district people to vote. The next best thing is the name of somebody you know hasn’t voted yet, but you have to vote these late in the day and it is risky; the real one might show up. So, be on the lookout for groups of people showing up to vote. If you see a group show up, take their picture, surreptitiously is safer because some of these thugs will hurt you. Photograph any van or bus that shows up, the drivers, and anyone getting on or off. Especially, be on the lookout for any vehicle or person that repeatedly shows up with a group of “voters.” Get all their pictures. This might be the guy from some church bringing in people without cars, but more likely it is the guy from a union, ACORN, or some such bringing in people to vote as the “voters” that don’t really exist. Note and photograph anyone that you see more than once. Note and photograph anyone handing out anything. Most places prohibit campaigning/soliciting within some set distance of the entrance of a polling place, so if you see that, report it to the Republican Party. Note and photograph anyone who seems to be giving anythign to voters. Note and photograph anyone who seems to be doing what you’re doing. Also keep an eye on any cops that come around and if they seem to be working with anyone else there, photograph the interaction.
I’m sure there’s more but it’s been a long time since this old guy I once knew told me how he did this sort of stuff. And remember, there are places, and I’d consider any urban area and all of New Jersey to be among them, where doing this sort of stuff can be really, really dangerous!

E Pluribus Unum (Diary) Monday, November 2nd at 2:06PM EST (link)Geez, it’s like having Nikita Krushchev defect and spill all the Soviet secrets straight to the CIA.
Achance, I have observed some of this at work, not terribly up close, and in alot of cases I could not say for sure what was happening. To be specific, I am personally familiar with some of the people engineering this sort of thing, who have talked about it freely in front of me, assuming I was their friend and/or ally.
It is as you say. This is related to my note below. The Tea Parties got people, normal American people (since I don’t call union people ‘people’) their first up-close look at ground-level organized machine politics. It’s been eye-opening, but it’s only a starter, The Dems have been doing this literally for more than a century, and I predict this Corzine thing will be a big black eye on Republicans. He’ll successfully steal it, amid a horrible dark, smoking cloud of scandal and uproar. It’s their home country, and NJ may be the the only place more politically corrupt than Chicago.
I further predict, however, it will piss off alot of conservatives BUT GOOD, and spur Tea Partyism to get really, really serious about combating this, and organizing themselves around political operation much more than now.

nessa (Diary) Monday, November 2nd at 2:22PM EST (link)I’ve got some friends in NJ, it would be worth a trip to ride the Harleys down to the polls and hang around a while. Of course any benefits gained from photos of large hairy bikers helping little old ladies to the booths could be lost if SEIU or someone showed up to push folks around… The Stones did recover from Altamont.

E Pluribus Unum (Diary) Monday, November 2nd at 2:36PM EST (link)Not all that much is *secret*, just out of sight of the average person.
This, like your ongoing revelations of lefty machine bureaucracy, is a view of the underbelly of the political world totally unanticipated by the average conservative. People just have NO idea what is going on, believing what they see on the evening news. Believing that if person A wins an election 51-49, well, that’s just because 51% of voters picked that guy.
The sad thing is that so many elected conservatives, and conservative pundits and consultants believe there is such a thing as “my friend on the other side of the aisle”.
This year conservatives discovered Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. That was nice, and a good start. Another of those “secrets” hiding in plain sight. But I am hoping this NJ election will lead to the Tea Party Patriots getting their eyes REALLY opened.

JLenardDetroit (Diary) Monday, November 2nd at 2:54PM EST (link)so those Vans and what-not may not be so boldly pulling right into the parking lots of the Polling locations (or, maybe even more-so as to try and park in a location/fashion that shields the “perp-walk” as it is from the vehicle into and out of the Vote)…. so groups may indeed be walking up from around corners which should make them appear even more suspicious.
It is a shame, but it seems more and more under-cover camera (some Spy shops) work like Breitbart’s folks do in order to stay safe and get people with their guard down. This also, of course, allows you to just stand around as a volunteer handing out Lit for your favorite Conservative Candidates and giving you that legitimate reason for being there. Of course, most folks understand trying to catch fraud is legitimate, but you all know what I mean.

I doubt they'll be more careful. It's not in their character.
Achance (Diary) Monday, November 2nd at 3:01PM EST (link)I once did an investigation of some serious misconduct by some leadership personalities in one of our unions. I had the email of all the union stewards, E-board members, and some activists tapped and I got a copy of everything that went to and from them all. It was our morning entertainment to open the folder and read that stuff. They’d be saying and planning the most outrageous things and all along saying to each other that they’d best be careful because the State’s probably reading all this. Of course, the State was reading it all, but even knowing it didn’t change their behavior.

Does anyone know folks with homes/businesses across from Polling locations?!?!
JLenardDetroit (Diary) Monday, November 2nd at 3:27PM EST (link)Those would, of course, make great places to set up a camera and film all activities going on from a safe hidden location. You can get one-direction viewable Window film (not sure if Home Depot or Loews has it) so you can cover an upstairs window (or set of windows) and no-one will have a clue. Be sure to be zoomed in for a good shot of the “suspicious” folks – for both ID purposes and so that it is less likely identifiable where/how (vantage point) from which you were getting your footage.
If standing out and about by the polls – another important reminder:
Remember, MOST of the MSM will attempt to make YOU the story and not any actual fraud that helps them get their uber-Liberal friends elected – so be careful as Art points out! Be friendly and not confrontational. The news outlets will loop 10 seconds of anything that makes YOU look bad rather than the 10 minutes of the actual fraud going on. Repeating myself? YES! That point cannot be driven home enough!!
Better to cover a very suspicious Polling location (search for news-stories that suggest past “funny business” and cover those locations) with 4 people, 2 of you out at a time and switch off with 2 others (call them bathroom and warming breaks) so that you can check equipment (change recording media, batteries, or whatever, if needed), warm up, relieve the bladder, grab some bottled water (other liquids not recommended – you want to be comfortable not jumping up and down trying to hold out for your next bathroom break
lol).
Do NOT go armed — remember how the story was slanted about the one guy carrying a firearm became the story — as I was warning about above…. They want to make some Conservative the Story, not the Liberals antics!!!
If you didn’t get it from Art — DON’T dress like you’re going to a TEApeat!!!! You want to be casual and blend in, not standout.
Other than the SMALL GROUP of folks you are working with to team up at any ONE (OR MORE, as you can trade-off -rotate-) locations — DON’T BLAB! Don’t telegraph your intent to anyone (outside your trusted group) as LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS!!! Some Liberal may overhear, some Liberal family member or friend you weren’t 100% certain of might mention it to someone else — we don’t want SEIU and ACORN knowing (being tipped) in advance of any particular location that may be targeted for monitoring!!!
There has to be some more obvious things missed in this discussion — WHAT ARE THEY?!?!?

One other suggestion for date stamping,

NJ will be telling
E Pluribus Unum (Diary) Monday, November 2nd at 12:49PM EST (link)We’ve damaged ACORN this summer. Far more than the prostitute videos, we’ve shined a bright spotlight on them for their vote-stealing operations. ACORN is now a byword, a symbol of Democrat corruption.
On the other hand, the ACORN-in-chief is now the president of the United States, and the entire government bureaucracy is being molded into a Democrat advocacy organization. If I was guessing I would say there’s been a ton a money funneled into their ground operations.
So, if actual voters vote for Christie by a margin of 3-4%, will ACORN and other criminal Democrat operatives be able to steal it?
If yes, this will serve as a smack in the mouth of the Tea Party Patriots movement — it means we have ALOT more work to do. I predict if they’re able to steal it, it will ultimately work against the Dems by throwing gasoline on the Tea Party fire. We had HCR to fuel them first, now Democrat corruption will carry the anger much, much farther.
If no – if they are unable to steal NJ for Corzine – it will serve the Death Notice for the Obama ascendency. HCR – dead. Cap-n-Tax – dead. Porkulus 2 – dead. Czar invasion – dead.
I’m personally not optimistic. I think they’ll steal it and get away with it, at least in terms of getting Corzine elected.

Can They Steal The NJ Legislature Too Though?!
IJB Monday, November 2nd at 1:00PM EST (link)I kind of doubt it. I think they have their eyes focused on the ‘big prize’ of keeping Corzine in there, but will probably take their eye off the ball in the downticket races.
I’m not sure how much good it does them to keep Corzine around, if he has a hostile legislature.
But I’m guessing the ACORN types haven’t thought that far ahead…
I find it ironic that the pols in D.C.
Steph C (Diary) Monday, November 2nd at 1:08PM EST (link)are worried about election fraud in Afghanistan and how that affects the war when we have election fraud all over the place here and we’re expected to just accept it at “face value.” With all that ACORN has done, not to mention other groups to which ACORN is connected, I don’t know that our “duly elected” president is any such thing. Maybe he is, maybe he isn’t. Either way, we’ll never know for sure, will we?
It’s just the hypocrisy of it all and the “holier than thou” attitude of the crooks in chief inhabiting the beltway.

I think they should be managed at the state and local level. What matters is strong fiscal conservatism. There is NO room for fiscal moderates. What does that mean anyway? That they support taxing and spending, just not as much as a Dem? That they support a little “living and breathing” in the part of the Constitution but just not full Constitutional animation? WHAT?
Need to demand a definition of “moderate” before supporting these types of candidates. If not they’ll become Snowes, Specters, Collins…
