Which Republican did this? [UPDATED]

[UPDATE] I was emailed that it was Louie Gohmert (R TX-01).  Looking for video.

[ANOTHER UPDATE]: Short, sweet, and to the point:

I’m not following the floor action on the House health care rationing bill - I figure it’ll eventually pass the House somehow, and I am still fighting a cold - so I didn’t see this. Which is a shame, because it must have been hysterical:

Fun stuff…Hoyer led the House in cheering for John [Dingell]. Nice touch and all but then a Republican got up and asked unanimous consent that [Dingell] be given back the Chairmanship of the House Energy And Commerce Committee. Pelosi replaced him, the Dean of the House, with Henry Waxman because [Dingell], being from Michigan, would never have moved on Cap and Tax.

Well played.  I’d love to know who did this, and whether it was done on his or her own initiative.

Not sure

I had just turned C-Span on when it seemed to be utter pandemonium, which was why I posted earlier today to watch the circus. I missed who did it.

When the Democrats started to make their comments to be recorded, in addition to approving unanimous consent, many were using their time to stand on their soapbox. Dingell, after awhile, repeated that the procedure was in order to save time, and, asked that they keep their time to a minimum. Some didn’t. When it was the Republicans turn, it seemed that he was really trying to enforce the time limits, and he asked that they only state their approval for unanimous consent, which most added their comments anyway, but in short versions. Joe Wilson went way beyond his time limit, and even spoke over Dingell when he tried to stop him. His comments were not recorded on the record. I just love bad boys. Go Joe Wilson.

He was from Texas

Declaration of Dependents

VizBiz Saturday, November 7th at 5:45PM EST (link)

Louis Gohmert, after speaking about our forefathers risking their lives and treasure with the Declaration of Independence, called this bill a Declaration of Dependents.

He almost cried, but funny still.

Runs with scissors, walks with Wacom.

Well I watched Henry Waxman be VERY nasty with the minutes...

for Republicans while allowing the Ds run over with their MOUTHS! I saw Rangel & Sheila Jackson Lee with a couple of other black Congresspeople and I immediately thought to myself “WOW they still separate into color groups”….seriously the black members were in a group and ALL of the white members were no where near them…..very strange!

Well I will get all my pictures uploaded and do a diary on my time in DC with PATRIOTS! It was awesome and I am tired and I suspect it will be in vain BUT WE will just move our fight to the Senate!

does not destroy him is his own enemy
