Big Government: Hey, guess who dumped 20K documents in a dumpster?

Nine days after there was an announcement that their group was going to be investigated? Yup, that’s right: ACORN. San Diego office – just before California AG Jerry Brown came to visit. Alas, if only somebody had had the foresight to wait for this sort of thing to happen, and retrieve the documents…

Oh. Right.

They didn’t shred, they didn’t redact, and they threw out people’s sensitive and personal information – including things like copies of Social Security cards, W-4 forms, and driver’s licenses. I’m not a lawyer, but apparently that’s grounds for legal action right there; document disposal requirements are very, very strict. Which is why the local ACORN branch is trying the novel ‘Oops, fall cleaning‘ excuse.

Which almost might be believable, except of course for the underage El Salvadoran illegal immigrant brothel thing.

this whole criminal gang in jail? They’re about on par with Al Capone.

These people are fools. No wonder they hired Obama as a lawyer.

just can’t seem to refrain from criminal behavior nor keep itself out of the headlines.

Listening to talk radio I can’t help but notice all of the lifelock and other anti-identity theft commercials. People are really concerned about it and, evidently, willing to pay to protect their privacy.

Enter ACORN making personal information available at the local public dumpster. Pimping underage illegal aliens is one thing, but being so careless with personal information is, well, personal. Obstruction of justice is abstract to most people, but identity theft is personal. This is the angle to play up in this episode of As the Acorn Turns.

… or, as the El Salvadorian teenagers would say (if they weren’t already busy getting home/business loans), mua jeje! jeje!

    well put

They’ve been forbidden to place those ‘fraud alerts’ on credit reports now, and they never protected anything anyway, that social security number in advertisements was used to take out several dozen drivers licenses and payday loans, and the founder was literally an identity thief: http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2007/06/lifelock_founde/

It’s simple to take anti-fraud steps yourself, don’t be bilked out of your cash.

dudes…ACORN dudes. Not Cool. And yes, it’s “dudes”, because you know it was the guys who hauled that load out to the dumpster and took a smoke break.

I just mean were the ID’s for actual people, or were they for the imaginary ones, the falsified citizen voters?
Are these ACORN generated falsified documents they are trying to get rid of prior to discovery? I’d like to verify a few of the citizens..
And what would a drivers license be doing in a dumpster??

that these idiots won enough confidence from the last election to feel they were legitimate, and could pop their heads out of their holes long enough for us to see them. Thank God, as GWB would say, “for the internets.” The MSM has found its worthy adversary here in cyberspace, after controlling the Thought Police for so long.

Isn’t it great!? LOL I just love when someone tries to get away with something and makes it worse for themselves. I wonder if this will in fact get them in more trouble. If they were Republicans it would, but . . . we will see.

You have to drop the brothel thing now. ACORN didn’t actually run a brothel, never was implicated in any actual criminal enterprise — the brothel was a scam. Yes, it became clear that ACORN workers were happy to aid and abet a criminal enterprise. But it didn’t actually happen. The only crime is one of stupidity.

As many attorneys have also reported, they did not have to actually run a real brothel to commit a crime. Consider all those guys that get caught talking on the phone or online with some older chick that they think is a 14 year old. They nail him for showing up to meet her with a suspected intention to have sex with her. there was never an under-aged girl ever even involved. He just thought that there was. There was never a sex act, just intent. There were other conspiratorial aspects to that acorn thing such as advising then (conspiracy) on how to avid taxes and how to get government under false pretenses.

Nothing about ACORN needs to be dropped except their charter and funding.

At least you didn’t Moby in with “We have to drop the brothel thing now..”

I on’t know what kind of kinky sex thing you have going with ACORN, Dan Clamage, but we’re not interested in all that underage stuff.

Have read that the ties to the WH/obama are pretty damaging for the prez. Also that he is trying to cover his tracks fast. Not going to do any good. The cat is out of the bag!! SEIU. Acorn and barry go back a long way. barry has even said that he has worked with acorm and seiu all of his life. Andy Stern or Stein, whatever, he is the pres of seiu, has been a visitor to the WH 22 times, while hillary has only been there 4 times per the visitors log. Guess michelle will have to stop being first lady so she can represent acorn and seiu since barry can’t play lawyer while playing prez. michelle likes to represent black panthers so acorn and seiu will be a cakewalk for her! Will be so glad when 2010 then 2102 gets here. Vote the libtards aout of office!!!!! We the people only want true Conservatives!!

  • gramma73

    I meant to say 2012!!!!

  • ecroper

Man , this is better than the movies, better yet, a good book. Just think about what people will read in say 20 years. Now how do we take our country back.We need to make that list and keep it public for people to see.Its been my experiance that people of these sorts always resort back to the same old ways, they just use a diffrent disguise. If we dont get them now, they will be back.Huhh… seem like an age old addage, Havent we been fighting this battle for many years? Seems to always be the same,Whats good against whats not.Why would anybody want to take Liberty and schackle it?
