FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

Reviewing the November Fundraising Numbers.

It’s that time again. Short version: the RNC & NRSC beat out their Democratic counterparts – which is odd, considering that they’re the groups giving the Republican base the most aggravation; the NRCC pulled in less than the DCCC; the Democrats have a pretty good COH advantage (although the RNC spent a bunch of money in November); and the Democrats apparently aren’t planning to retire their debt.

Raised CoH Debts
RNC 6.38 8.75 0.00
DNC 5.94 13.19 4.93
NRSC 3.30 7.30 0.00
DSCC 3.00 11.30 1.70
NRCC 2.34 4.35 2.00
DCCC 3.65 15.35 2.67
GOP 12.02 20.40 2.00
Dem 12.59 39.84 9.30

Not much to say to any of that, except that obviously Democrats are going to be happier about the cash on hand advantage, while Republicans are going to be happier that this month was at rough parity, despite lopsided Democratic majorities. I’ll also repeat what I wrote last month:

RNC.
NRCC.
NRSC.

If it hurts too much, try Reverse the Vote! Specifically targets 24 Congressional Democrats in Red districts, goes straight to the general election candidates, the national committees don’t see a dime.

Because life ain’t fair.

…the numbers for contributions to GOP/Conservative individuals, groups, or organizations vs. those of the Dems. We all know the GOP orgs aren’t getting much from the base but we are in fact giving a lot of money.

I *should* be including the Governors’ associations, at that – but that may have to wait for the new year, so that we can start all fresh-like.

them? And we know they spent $900,000 on Dede, so there’s almost a million lost from cash on hand….

is doing. I hope it’s doing very well – give it a plug every chance I get.

for the alternative option (reversethevote) – because it does hurt too much. Plus, I’m still in the “Not one cent to the NRSC” facebook group.

I support candidates individually and who exhibit strong conservative ideals. If this fails…..then shame on me.

The dimocrats and their allies will raise and spend over a billion dollars in pure cash. The labor unions, the moveon.org and the rest that vested interests in keeping the dims in office will raise and spend money in levels never seen before.

In Washington people are being strong armed. They are being told point blank if they do not contribute to the dims they have no business coming around for legislation.

My brother was told to his face if he did not bundle $250.000 he would need a new line of work. They would contact his clients and tell then they won’t work with him further. They should get new representation.

When he told them that was extortion they replied, “so? Who are you going to go to? The justice department? The press? We own them all. Now raise the money.”

RGA is only national group I give too, the Governor elections will have a huge down-the-ballot effect in 2010 (ie…Virginia 2009).

I wish the NRSC would come up with a reversethevote type site for Senate races…I would give the any Republican candidate that comes out of the primaries to defeat Reid, Boxer, Lincoln or Dodd.

I sat here watching for the last two years people slamming the leadership at the NRCC.

I am glad to see that there has been fundamental change at the NRCC, and that it is now an incredibly effective fundraising organization.

Look at their cash on hand. They raised almost 100% of it last month.

…For Growth. Club membership is free. The Club bundles contributions to ANY candidate and helps with fundraising for selected candidates. Candidates are invited, or can ask to speak, at regular Club meetings held around the country and answer questions from the attendees who then vote on endorsing, not endorsing, or waiting to endorse, a candidate. Once endorsed, the Club helps bundle contributions to that particular candidate from other Club members. Yet to meet a RINO at a Club meeting.
