Quote of the Day, Quote of the Year edition.

Pour yourself a glass of something nice before you read this: it deserves it.

“Obama is radioactive in polls,” said one senior Dem operative who has seen the campaign’s internal numbers. “Every time they dropped his name in a poll, it was awful. So you just can’t take those kinds of chances.”

We actually got the d*mned horse to sing.

At least, Martha Coakley hopes the voters believe that.

and the donkeys are flyin’ ….. some of the Bay State donkeys are even flyin’ right over to the “R”column.

It’s a beautiful day to be a Conservative,

Well, that made my week…now if Brown wins, that’ll make my month.

I have to say that the horse reference is pretty obscure, at least to me, so I looked it up. Turns out it was a pretty good one.

For those who were, like me, mystified, look at this link about half the way down.

for a day that started out pretty crappy, it just keeps getting better and better!

    Go Scott!

Mongol General: What is best in life?
Conan: To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their lobbyists.

And I still think the reason he’s never wanted to go to bat for Coakley is because she stuck with Hillary in the primaries. No matter what the Dems threw at Coakley, she wouldn’t budge – she would not support Obama.

We’ve all witnessed his contempt and animosity for those who do not jump to his beck and call (Republicans), and I certainly believe he truly cannot control his Chicago love for pay-back. So it must really gall him to have to appear for this incompetent traitor, and do what’s in the best interest of the party instead of his own narcissistic desires.

I don’t think he’s ever given a rat’s a$$ about the polls or the Dems who about to walk the plank in 2010 or 2012, hence his agenda.

That said, I’m really, really, really, really glad that he has to go. And it’s a double bonus that his appearance may just tank Coakley’s candidacy.

As much as I would like to think he wouldnt, he will. He will mobilize the inner city and minority vote, who would probably sit this one out.

Whether people like him or not wont matter much. People are not going to be persuaded one way or the other if he comes.

But there are small dormant armies in the inner cities that have yet to lift a finger for Coakley. He will serve the purpose of alerting them. How Brown should counter the move is the important question.

  • joliefleurs

Bill scares me more than Obama, and I am afraid you’re right about the inner city.

Still worth fighting though. I love that they’re having to use all these resources.

First, thanks for all your work in this election.

If Obama will help, why hasn’t he already come out to do several campaign appearances?

Never mind that Bush (or Rove) aren’t on the ballot, either.

  • http://www.suvstrategery.blogspot.com SoFiMil

Maybe a few hand-made signs will ask for him to serve hot chocolate/coffee?

  • Swamp_Yankee

… Martha, herself, only started campaigning about 10 days ago. They were overconfident.

Then there are logistics. POTUS schedule is tight and there are a lot of security and logistic issues to work out, so he can’t come on a whim.

Also, now, he runs the risk of losing political capital. He will look like a fool if Coakley loses, so they must beleive that he wil make a difference.

It’s all about voter mobilization, not changing minds. This is about getting the the minority vote out. Nothing else.

and more desperate. They are looking for ANYTHING to discredit Scott Brown.

Is this the typical spin or what? Laughable.

he knows he’s done. Stick a fork in the Demo-commies, they’re done

  • bigalsouth

Will Obama actually attend Martha Coakley’s wake? If he does, he is an idiot. When Coakley loses and Obama came to Mass. to campaign for her to support ObamaCare, what will this say about Obama?

    Copenhagen?

    Fail?

  • izoneguy

Obama is probably wondering what other disasters are on the way.
