on to the nomination of governor. I live in IL and am dating a girl whose family is very connected to the GOP and most of them want Dillard to win. That gives me good reason to hope Brady can hold on to the nod. We need a true conservative to bring reform to IL, we are in really bad shape right now.

Kinzinger is the best chance of a GOPer taking back a house seat, the only advantage Halvorson currently has is money, so if Kinzinger gets close to her in $ this will be a seat that is once again Red. If people want to elect Conservatives in order to take back the House of representatives, it starts in the 11th District of Illinois

…but there is room for more. C’mon, give the guy $10 or $20 bucks.

Your money won’t be worth anything tomorrow anyway.

I inadvertently had two copies of it up because I’d opened the page on your blog that has it as well, and it brought my less-than-a-year-old netbook to its knees– Firefox was taking dozens of seconds just to refresh the screen. So now I’m avoiding the RedState front page because this fool thing is there. I know it’s cute and all, but could you please put it behind a cut or something? Thanks.

This is why there’s nothing wrong with negative campaigning, as it serves a very useful purpose. From the Democrats perspective, it would of saved them a lot of headaches.

Interesting take on this by the The Kos Kids, with a ridiculous assertion by a rec’d diarist who jumped into the conversation on the diary he/she authored:

“Someone held this back. A Republican perhaps. A a disenchanted Democrat. Nevertheless, it was held back.” (sic)

Yeah, blame anyone but the slew of other liberal candidates in Illinois.
