Les is likeable

but his opponent in the race, Mo Brooks, has more legislative experience and is well known as a conservative in this area. Les is quite literally the only unknown in the AL 05 race.

The turncoat faux Republican, Parker Griffith, is also an opponent but the odds of him winning are so small as to approach 0. He is despised by both sides of the electorate now.

Conservative?

Please explain to me how anyone that wants to raise taxes & the cost of business can be conservative? The Conservative party that I belong to wants to reduce taxes & costs of doing business. Sounds more like a Democrat to me. (And will be happy to provide link to Mo saying this clearly).

Please explain to me how Bragging on the “excellent record of bring home the pork & intentions to continue to do so” is a conservative plan? (Also will be happy to provide link). Sounds more Democrat to me.

Please explain how being against legal immigration is Conservative policy? Here I thought was Democrats that were racists.

Please explain to me how not having a plan to develop industry or education outside of the immediate area of Huntsville or Madison is the signs of a good legislature.

Please explain to me why 11 years out of 20 years of being in Good Old boy insider appointed positions means that you are capable, especially when in 2 instances you had to actually run for that office after being appt & both times after voters got to know you, you lost?

Please explain to how after 20 years-when asked unable to name even one bill that Mo Brooks actually wrote & sponsored even though asked several times was unable to do so.
Oh & by the way the Dems are praying that Mo Brooks wins the primary, they have several questions they would like to ask him.
Is Mo Brooks the politician-certainly. Is Les Phillip the STATESMAN-most definately.

He lost me when he said

“That’s where the money is.”

That’s the problem with Washington. Everybody goes there because it’s where the money is instead of being with the people who earn it. I received the impression that he wants to go there to bring other people’s money to his district, not stop money indiscriminately flowing to Washington and out to favored pet projects.

Maybe I’m wrong but that’s the impression he left me with.
