‘Next week on C-SPAN: Cabinet fart-lighting contest!’

God save the Republic.

[UPDATE]: Greek, Roman, what’s the difference? Dead white guy either way, and it’s not like anybody in this administration reads the classics anyway.

So that’s no literacy in English, no math skills, and no historical knowledge. I figured that I could get away with the nerd thing, being one myself – but I may have to apologize to the other members of my sub-group for the implied slur if this keeps up.

I swear, sometimes I almost think that those people pull this stuff just to embarrass me in public (f-bomb warning):

Also, apparently the Vice President uses the same online quote website that the President does. It’s like watching Revenge of the Nerds, only featuring functional illiterates who aren’t good at math.

I guess Gibbs tweeted in agreement too. These guys are such arrogant sobs

The modern three stooges. Obama, Biden, and Pelosi, with Harry Reid playing Shep. It shocks me that our fellow citizens have actually put these people in charge. I think we need to look at new criteria for being allowed to vote, say maybe an IQ of at least 10. Some of the people who voted for these fools are not smart enough to walk my dogs in a circle, let alone on a path. As Forest Gump says, “Stupid is as stupid does” and now they are running the country!!! Shocking

This is what you get with “One party” government and “One party” news media.

This is a big EFFing deal ! And CONgress is doing the effing… to the American people, the constitution, and inadvertantly themselves ! Do they not realize that they and their decendants will have to live with the consequences of their agenda?

According to http://www.lifenews.com/nat6180.html , Obama didn’t sign the EO. Yes, it’s worthless anyways, but you’d think he’d at least go through the motions to make it look like he’s faithful in his negotiations.

Maybe he’ll sign it Saturday night….

two not in the movie “Dumb and Dumber?’ I think they were. They look familiar.

Obama and his ilk find it inappropriate to claim victory against any of our country’s enemies (terrorists, Iraq, Iran ect…) Yet they sing from the mountain tops about their victory over the American people. What side are they on???

That made it really easy to spot the previous banning.

I may have to default-option that in the future.

The f word should only be used on twitter to describe sex between a Supreme Court Justice and a goat, IMO!

Megyn Kelly interviewing Brit Hume. The topic of Biden’s f-bomb (accompanied by video) came up. Megyn couldn’t stop laughing and Hume explained the way most people who know Biden would have,( paraphrasing here, “That’s just Biden, a likeable guy, but a guy who is incapable of keeping his mouth zipped.” Hume was bemused. Anyone watching the two of them would have said that they thought the whole thing funny, that one shouldn’t think much of the incident since it WAS Biden, after all.

    Well, thanks a lot, guys.

I taught high school for three decades (SF Bay Area). Unless you yourself have lived in CA and taught in the public schools, you’ve no idea what this kind of behavior on the part of BIDEN and HUME and KELLY have on the schools.

Teachers are already handicapped by everyone who thinks they can simply snap their fingers and to create a learning environment, but each and every year more students, more parents, more admins who, in response to students spouting the F-word or saying “F-off” to a teacher, to another student, to whomever, simply try to laugh off the language and ignore any disciplinary action that should accompany it by proferring “Well, they all say it. We can’t throw all of them out.”

And now I have to see Kelly and Hume laughing? Yeah, Biden’s a buffoon, always has been . In fact, I think Joe is what the field of psychology calls a “mythomaniac,” but when kids see that “journalists” are amused by his language, that makes a teacher’s job impossible. It makes it easy for a kid to say, “Hey, no big deal. Even the Vice President says it.”

Every attempt to hold kids accountable for their language and their behavior is directly related to the way adults either do or don’t treat that language and that behavior –either with gravity or light-heartedness. I get sick of how everyone, including conservatives, treat this kind of thing as funny but get ticked at the lack of discipline in the schools. I get sick of their treating of teachers as the scapegoats.

I suppose you know what I am wishing I could type as a retort to all those people, including Kelly and Hume. It starts with an “f” and is followed by an adverb beginning with “o” and it’s an imperative sentence.

I was/am so ticked, I didn’t proofread my comments above. Consider the errors corrected.

on the Senate Floor to insult a Senator, he’s a manly man, saying it like it is, with character and conviction.

But when Biden drops the F bomb in a private conversation he’s a nerd and a stooge?

That’s some double standard you practice around here.

  • http://thesandsinstitute.org Vassar Bushmills

    …as in …lessness.

    Our betters. Yikes!

  • drguido

Are you serious? A private conversation? Carried on a live newscast- and CSPAN? With a live mic? That he just spoke into?

Biden is an idiot of the worst kind. He thinks he is smart and he has power. That makes him scary and dangerous. The FCC should fine him for this.

If Cheny, as while VP, dropped the “F bomb” on a live telecast, I would say the same about him. He did it in the senate chambers while the senate was NOT IN SESSION. That is a far cry from a live presser.

Oh, and BTW, Biden is a nerd and a stooge no matter what he says…

  • drguido

the only conformation (sp) that it happened was from Leahy.

  • throwback59

Red State? It says so right underneath the box I’m typing in.

  • rblog

that Biden saying a swear word into Obama’s ear while there were mics around isn’t dumb.

I’m just saying that RedState is making a mountain out of a mole hill with this Biden thing. Red State would do better to find something more important to talk about.

BTW, Cheney dropping the F bomb on the Senate floor is not only classless, but against the Senate Rules.

But that’s probably okay with you, I guess.

  • http://moelane.com/ Moe Lane

That was all you, Sparky: the least you can do is own your failure.

  • http://moelane.com/ Moe Lane

You’re the guy who voted for him: we’re not really here to make you feel good about your poor life choices.

  • http://moelane.com/ Moe Lane

…if he showed up for his letting some snot-nosed campaign staffer take back Biden’s apology for the Obama campaign’s mocking of McCain’s war wounds (the ones inflicted by torture). If I seem to be bearing a grudge on that, I do: I LIKED Biden on a personal level until that point.

    But he’s a weakling. I can’t respect that.

  • drguido

it is against the senate rules to curse on the floor. When the senate is in session. Which it wasn’t (and this is the reason there is no CSPAN video of the exchange, just Leahy and some Dem staffers to say that Cheny even said it). Oh, and BTW, Cheney and Leahy’s conversation would be the definition of a private conversation, not open mic night at the White House.

If it was Cheney saying this to Bush 3 years ago, Maddow and the rest of the MSNBC robots would be having kittens. Biden, well, that’s just Joe! Kinda like the “special” cousin. Nobody makes a big deal when he eats off the floor.

  • rblog

you guys here at RedState are a sensitive bunch.

Yesterday you could be denied health insurance, go bankrupt, lose your house, just because you happened to get sick.

Today you can purchase insurance and not be denied. You’d think the Democrats just peed on your lawn or something.

I’m happy with my choices. Even if my choices benefit you, Moe.

I don’t need you to make myself feel better, but thanks just the same.

  • http://moelane.com/ Moe Lane

…ten years from now, and wince – I don’t need you to come find me and tell me; I can’t imagine that I’d still remember you anyway.

Didn’t anyone else warch? They gave Erick one shot . The other two liberals both got TWO. Just an accident?

  • drguido

I am a doctor in private pratice. The talk between all the doctors is what will we do next. I’m between taking only private insurance and changing careers. Thinking driving trucks. See the country, get insurance coverage after I get sick…”When you can drive a truck, you’ve got a job my friend…” Gotta find that number for Diesel Driving Academy.

  • SoulEspresso

Free health insurance for everyone sounds like a great idea. Why shouldn’t the government give everyone a lifetime supply of Bubble Yum and a pony, too? Those sound like great ideas, too.

Do you understand why the national debt is a bad thing?

Do you understand that no government program is capable of controlling costs and increasing services at the same time?

How do you think the government is going to pay for this? Taxes? LOL.

  • http://cafepress.com/right2 chucko

…what, exactly, would compel someone to say this, even without the profanity? I mean, did Joe walk into the room that morning, see the crowd, the cameras, etc., and only then realize that f-ing up 1/6 of the economy was kinda eventful? Did he think that Barry didn’t know how big this was, and needed a warning lest he say something inappropriate for the occasion? Or is Joe just one of those guys that thinks he’s making some great contribution by stating the obvious?

I don’t know why, but somehow he reminds me of George Costanza.
