FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

DNC risks dead GOP Congressman… for $505.

Even the *amount* is insulting.

As you have undoubtedly heard by now, the FBI has arrested one Norman Leboon for death threats made against Congressman Eric Cantor, in the wake of the Democratic National Committee’s fear-mongering fundraising drive regarding… threats of organized GOP violence. This is not, by the way, the first time that Leboon has fallen for the Democratic’s party cynical agitprop; he was one of the plaintiffs in an anti-FISA lawsuit a few years back. So there’s a history there of him believing whatever nonsense that the Democrats fed him.

Well. Turns out he’s an Obama contributor from 2008, too. See here for the H/T, and see here for a video where he identifies himself as “Norman Leboon Sr.”  Sounds good enough to avoid the question mark I had in the title, so I’d like to ask Brad Woodhouse of the Democratic National Committee something (seeing as he was the guy who so publicly dismissed the need to ratchet down the rhetoric): what are you going to do to get rid of this blood money, Brad?  I mean, personally.

And another question: what were you going to say to Eric Cantor’s wife if the FBI hadn’t caught this guy in time?  Assuming that it wouldn’t have been a moot point anyway.

Brad.

I suppose it really wouldn’t matter to him if Rep. Cantor had been killed by this lunatic. He’d probably just reason that Cantor was 1) a Republican and 2) a Jew, so hey it’s a twofer. These people are truly frightening (and by “people” I mean Woodhouse, Leboon, and the rest of the Democrat hatemongers).

  • The_Gadfly

Because according to the reports I read, the he threatened to kill both of them.

This guy Hates Jews, the end of the world is coming What a total nutjob. Will Eric Holder let this guy go?

  • larryp

Of course they are serious issues and we need to defend, but the Donks love and plan for this distraction. The donks don’t want any gop comment on how not everyone is covered. And who some are going to be given short shrift. and how the issue of tort reform is not addressed. I read that Calif has to repeal its limits on some types of lawsuits or accto bill Calif will not get funds!
If these issues could be addressed along with our defense of tea parties,
Because the donks don’t want these items discussed at all and in my minds eye they ratchet up the attacks when it looks like the attention is to be diverted to what awful marxist mess they made.

You guys are obviously just hurling baseless accusations at this guy because he supported Obama. Haven’t you neocreeps ever heard of innocent until proven guilty? Good thing the honorable and unbiased AG Eric Holder will be personally overseeing his case. Frank Rich warned us about prople like you !!!

reads so very much like stuff I’d actually read from the idiots you’re satirizing that I had to check your profile just to see whether I should laugh or mock you relentlessly.

At that point, I’m not sure it’s satire anymore.

I am having a discussion with a friend, who tells me that Tea Partiers are racist pigs and that Republicans have treated Obama far worse than they treated Bush. Does anyone have a compilation of photos or anything of the sort that they can link me to so I can show this person a few examples? I believe I saw a link to something of the sort on a diary a few days ago, but searched and couldn’t find it.

Thanks a lot, and I’m sorry if I hijacked the thread or anything like that.

I will definitely use that. If someone could point me to pictures of protesters and demonstrators with offensive signs or rhetoric or actions, that would be perfect. Thanks again.

and why Tea partier are not “racist pigs”? really? really?

  • DCTrav

I know how he was treated. I need tangible examples I can send forward. I’ve seen some great compilations of liberals behaving badly and would love it if someone could link me now.

I got it when African Americans used the Muslim Faith to disguise their racism, but now whites are becoming Muslim’s????? Someone forgot to tell this guy he wasn’t welcome in their faith, talk about your hub cap on a tractor.

Has tons of photos and examples. Imagine if people tried this against Obama! They would all be in jail. They genuinely should be arrested showing this sort of hatred and distaste for any sitting president.

Has Red State been infected with the MSM Demo Denial virus?

I tried to figure out from the post if this clown was a Democrat or not. Seems it’s mentioned that this clown associates with Democrats, but for all I know, he could be a member of the Leprecon party…

  • bazinga

Evidently, this guy made hundreds of videos threatening politicians of all stripe, from Cantor to Pelosi to Obama…

In this case, I don’t think crazy has a party affiliation. Good for everyone that he is off the street.

Go to http//:www.zombietime.com. Click on hall of shame. This site if chock full of info and pictures many from the Bush years.

Being part (ie less than 50%) black does not shield Obama from criticism of his policies so get over the race issue please. It is getting a bit old. The Alinsky move to use the fear of being labeled a bigot is no longer working so move on to other means of suppressing your opposition.

You have shown your ignorance regarding the issue of guilt. The “innocent until proven guilty” is purely a legal phrase and has no application to general opinion. For example, if you watch someone rape and mrurder your sister then you will have a personal opinion and even knowledge that something is true, ie guilt in spite of the pending legal proceedings. People may assume guilt based upon that they know about a case. Individual opinion is not bound by the innocent until proven guilty talking point. I suppose you assume OJ was innocent since he was found innocent in his criminal trial but guilty in his civil trial.

Inn the future you might consider the long held tradition of using facts to support your premise and arrive at a reasonable conclusion.

By the way, will Eric Holder handle this case the same way he did the recent Black Panther case of voter intimidation. They guys had already lost the case and he withdrew it without explanation in spite of clear video proof. Do you really think that if those accused whad been Tea Party protestors the outcome would have been the same? I think we know the answer to that.

  • Leopard1996

Even someone like myself who is bi-racial. You arguement is complete garbage. I have very strong criticisms of Obama and this leftist power grabbing congress. Am I also a racist, or in your racist terminology am I suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. Please do me and others like me a favor, stop attempting to assuage your white guilt at my expense.

  • Leopard1996

I read some of your other comments, and I believe that what you put here was actually satire, so I apoligize for my above comment, however that comment should be read by any other lefty white person who wants to be suddenly become defender of the black race.

Now that’s rich (no pun intendend)

  • eburke

to his name in all of the media reports.

I mean, they certainly managed to put the words “Christian militia” and “right-wing, anti-government zealots” next to the names of the nutjobs they arrested in Indiana and Ohio yesterday.

Oh well, I’m sure it was just an editorial oversight.

  • eburke

had the same level of ‘ties’ to the Republican Party as this loon has to the Democrat Party and to Obama, he would be identified in every story as a Republican who donated to McCain and he would be hoisted up as proof as to the effects of the ‘hate speech’ that’s being ‘spewed’ by talk show hosts and the GOP leadership.

Because he’s got Dem ties and donated to TheOne?

  • bazinga

this crazy guy’s contributions to the Democratic party at Talking Points Memo, so it looks like both ends of the blogosphere are reporting it.

  • bazinga

I’m curious as to why you think he was arrested for threatening Cantor, when he obviously made similar threats against other politicians previously? Do you think Cantor took them more seriously than the others? There are lots of crazies out there making all sorts of YouTube videos…

  • eburke

I’m talking about the MSM…ya know, the same ones who have been reporting all week that tea partiers spit on and yelled out racial epithets to members of the CBC…despite the fact that there has been ZERO evidence from the dozens of videos of the event that any such thing happened.

    Those guys.
