FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

Phil Hare (D, IL-17) does not know the first Rule of Holes.

[UPDATE] This is the guy who shot the original video, apparently. It never hurts to put your contact info in the end credits…

Think of this as a teachable moment, Congressman Hare.

Background here: and check Hot Air for more.

PS: He read the bill, mind you. Three times.

PPS: Bobby Schilling for Congress.

their elected officials. National disappointment would probably be understating the net assessment…

…I initially thought. He is clearly less qualified to hold public office than Bozo The Clown.

From what I hear, the rest of the Dem Congress thinks and feels the same way as Rare……..complete disregard for the Constitution and willingness to break any law necessary in order to control American people and institute socialism.

My company is in IL-17. Hare is one of the clowns who originally pledged to vote against any health care bill without a public option. He knows nothing about the constitution or he’d realize heath care is a matter that should be left to the states.

    1. Pobably half of the people that can vote don’t, believing their vote doesn’t make a difference!

    2. The other half of the people don’t know who he is and probably think he is doing a great job, because the don’t hear anything bad coming out about him in Washington, D.C. so they vote for him.

It’s time to engage these people with the facts about Phil Hare !

I noticed the picture of Hare’s family in his “Constitution” video. Is it usual for people to have pictures of their family facing away from them and toward the camera? This guy really is a genius.

The constitutionality is one part that is extremely important yet most are missing the other point. Remember that this is about healthcare insurance reform and nothing more. Congressman Hare cares more about dead people then constitutionality but he made an interesting claim. Do healthcare insurance companies own hospitals, most are municipal hospitals thus they are the government. Yes, government is the problem not the solution. This is way beyond blurring the line between private healthcare insurance companies and municipal hospitals. This is the same moonbat excrement when liberals try to explain constitutionality, if you make the assertion that people are dieing you are also asserting the government is committing murder.

Wow, if someone from the Tea Party asserted the government was killing people as Congressman Hare did it would be dismissed as lunacy, headline news and on every blog.

…isn’t this guy being removed from office. Have we fallen that far, that a congressman can publicly state that he does not care about the Constitution and nobody bats an eye?

That little touch that says “Please don’t throw me out of office. I don’t know what the real world is like anymore.”

  • eldstenorge

The last I knew, elected officials still had to raise their arm to the square and swear, “Support, uphold and sustain the Constitution of the United States.” By this idiot’s comments, he has not only violated the Constitution, but he has violated his oath of office. That should be spread far and wide in his 17th Congressional District.

He has made a statement on his website, and there is a nice little “he was jumped!” type write-up in the Quad Cities local paper’s website. (complete with Facebook quotes- can that be considered a REAL journalistic source?) I mean, it’s not like they’re even trying to PRETEND to be real journalists anymore. Are they in THAT much a panic?

Hare has over $800,000 in his campaign chest. His money comes from big unions and Liberal PACs. Bobby Schilling (Conservative Republican) is Hare’s opponent. Bobby is against big government, big spending and running up the deficit. He is for gun rights and is pro life.

    His web site is:
