You know, back in the day, I had a certain sympathy for Democrat Steve Cohen (TN-09): back in 2008 he had been targeted for being a Jew by primary challenger Nikki Tinker, with nary a word of objection made by then Senator and now-President Barack Obama, who Cohen enthusiastically supported. It was obvious, even as early as last year, that this theme would probably be revisited in 2010 by former Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton, if a bit more skillfully. At the time, I was disappointed.
My reaction now, given that he likes to call us all Klansmen and Nazis?

Moe was right about the primary between Herenton and Cohen will be really interesting to watch (and bloody as well). Herenotn has run Memphis into the ground and kept getting re-elected mayor, despite being under investigation by the FBI.
Charlotte is a member of my tea party group. I have been meaning to write a diary about her, but for a number of reasons haven’t been able to do so. It really doesn’t take much courage to run a race you will most likely win, but it takes a lot to go into a tough fight like this. I fully support Charlotte and we will be working to get her elected.
I think it is important that we not run away from the fight in these tough districts. It takes time, but we need to have the debate to start winning. If we don’t put some efforts behind conservatives in tough districts we aren’t going to have the debate. I hope that makes sense, by 18 month girl is crying so had to make this quick.

Cohen acts and speaks the way he does for two reasons: 1) he is a total moonbat moron, and 2) the only way he can hold his seat is by proving he can sniff out the aroma of the penumbras of racism from his imagination with the best black idiot they can run against him – he wants to be known as a WINO.
Cohen and his fellow Democrats are doing for Memphis what their northern Democratic cousins did for Detroit. We are powerless to stop this, even though we know it will prolong and increase the suffering of the poor people in the city and environs. The place’s only hope is that some of the young people there learn from J.D. Loudermilk:

I take this personally and am curious if I can sue for defamation. I wonder if we should start using another of their tactics against them.
Sarah Palin is coming to Boston on April 14th with the Tea Party Express and I am the Boston leader. I am being inundated with interview and information requests – publicity a year ago I was begging for. I ignore most of them – Al Jazeera? I tell them to show up and report what they see and that will be their story. As a political newcomer, it has been shocking to me to experience my own words being twisted and manipulated to suit their theme. Outright lies about what I have said are becoming common place as well. I am now receiving calls at home from nuts.
Am I giving up? No way. This hard push to demonize us before Tax Day has me concerned but not staying home. While this district might be a loss for an R, it is critical we challenge every one of them.
In MA, despite which district we are in, many of us are backing Sean Bielat against Barney Frank – despite the challenges. Scott Brown won a lot of this district so it is doable. Sean is a great candidate, smart, educated, Marine vet and current Major in the reserves, married, baby on the way, CONSERVATIVE!
Every single one of these hateful, spiteful, foul mouthed, lying, thieving snakes need to be made to fight for their seat. This is no time to phone it in.
