FRONT PAGE CONTRIBUTOR

Meet Bobby Schilling (R CAND, IL-17).

He’s running against Phil Hare; yes, Hare’s the guy that can’t tell the Constitution from the Declaration of Independence. Interestingly, Bobby reported in the interview that apparently this isn’t the first time that Hare’s done this. It’s always sad when our elected officials start treating their seats as rights, not privileges…

Bobby’s website is here.

I looked at this guy’s website, and he’s really good. I tell you, we need common sense solutions to problems, and he’ll deliver. I’m going to make a contribution to Bobby’s campaign, and I hope you will too!

The demographics read only D +3 registration, but the district went for Obama by 14%, so who knows what jury-rigging was involved in the gerrymandering after the 2000 Census?

Cook, Rothenberg, Sabato, and Congressional Quarterly all rate this as a safe Democratic seat, though.

Why send money to long shot unicorn dreams when there are plenty of competitive districts where those dollars might actually make the difference?

If Bobby Schilling doesn’t get his message out through Paid Television and Radio Ads explaining where he stands on the issues vs Hare’s stance , It would be like Hare running unopposed!

Bobby Schilling needs our money to get his message out! That’s the only way for him to win is to get his message out and expose Hare’s record!

Remember Hare most likely has the backing of Unions!

Adjoran, take a look at this poll that We Ask America put out a couple of weeks ago, and shows that Bobby is only down by 7 points.

Of course, this poll was taken before the health care vote and Phil Hare’s constitution slip, so the poll has to be practically even right now.

There’s been a lot of momentum I’ve been hearing from my friends in Western Illinois. This race is going to be extremely competitive, and a likely pickup seat once the pollsters start taking a look at the numbers.

your guy Obama won, didn’t he? Don’t understand your logic. You should probably stick to it’s a 60% Black district stuff. But since your here, and a professional operative, could you explain to me why a persons skin color is a indicator of voting Democrat? Black People in my city 100 years ago, always voted Republican. What changed and why is that?

If we used your logic, we wouldn’t have Scott Brown or Chris Christie. My company is in this district (IL-17). It has to be the craziest district (geographically) in the country. Huge UAW support behind the incumbent.

If we are going to take back the country, there needs to be a huge turnover — not just the competitive races. There is a similar race across the mississippi river in IA-01, where I live. We must THINK BIG and work hard to take back these blue house seats.

PPP a Dem polling firm has Kirk and Brady ( running for Governor) both ahead and Obama only has a 50% approval rating now in the state

Illinois has at least 4 chances of pickups ( Halverson, Foster, Walsh, and Hare. We need to hold Kirk’s open seat too)
