More video of the Carson/Lewis affair.

What I tell you three times is true: get a camera. Get a camera. GET A CAMERA:

For those without video, the above (courtesy of Andrew Breitbart) shows an alternate view of Rep. Andre Carson and Rep. John Lewis’ infamous walk out of the Cannon Building, on the day that the two Congressmen claimed to have been taunted with racial slurs. As Andrew put it:

Not only is the audio devoid of any racial slur, but the scene at Cannon clearly shows the congressmen coming down the steps completely unobstructed, and with a clear path to the Capitol. And, when we juxtapose the audio accusation Rep.Carson made moments after the alleged event occurred with actual video footage of the moment Rep. Carson claims he first heard the racial slur, it is as plain as day that Congressman Carson was not isolated by a mob and facing a racist throng that could conceivably hurl rocks at him. As you can see for yourself.

Bolding mine: yes, you can see for yourself. Why? Because people brought cameras*. Otherwise, this wouldn’t have gotten challenged, and the Democrats wouldn’t be trying to hide from this story right now. And no, this is not something that people should just move on from, either. We can move on after the Members of Congress involved either publicly retract their accusations, or else prove them.

    Liberal Democrats lie, cheat and steal. That’s just the way it is. As soon as they pass the immigration amnesty bill by lying, they’ll be able to cheat and then steal the November election.

    And even a camera pointing at the ‘new voters’ who don’t speak english will only garner claims of right-wing nazis trying to disenfranchise Americans exercising their right to vote. It’s called propaganda, and it’s been used for centuries by the likes of the Communists. Really no surprise here.

    It has been a safe D district for all but one electiion cycle, 1972, when Bill Hudnut won in the Nixon landslide. This year the Rs have a hispanic candidate running. There has been a huge increase in hispanics into this district that makes me think this year is the best shot the Rs have of winning this seat since Bill Hudnut did it in 1972. His name is Carlos May.

    The DC teaparty group should sue Carson and Lewis for defamation. Their accusations were maliciously calculated to cause real harm to the reputation of the group, and if I was on a jury and saw a dozen videos of nothing happening, I’d convict. Liberals should not be allowed to defame anyone they want by accusing someone of racism and do so without any consequences.

    if he exploits the Carson-Lewis-racial slurs scandal for maximum benefit. Carson is a willing tool of the radical left, who ignorantly thought that he could tell lies about Tea Partiers with impunity because those lies were consistent with left-wing prejudices. In Post-Racial America, should a man who has used the race card in such a blatant and scurilous manner have a place in the U. S. House?
    The May Campaign needs to put this video in a television commercial, and make certain that it is seen by the largest possible audience. It is conclusive proof that Carson is an abjectly obedient lapdog for the Progressive Caucus and is unworthy of representing the people of Indianapolis.

    I remember posting it up here on the eve of Sarah Palin’s first granted interview with Charlie Gibson; “Bring your own camera!” But of course, even if by some miracle Palin had seen all the posts all over the Dextrosphere, the concentrated bundle of incompetence that was Nicolle Wallace would have nixed it.

    Every single Republican should always have a camcorder handy for any interaction with the Press.

I’ve got “10 minutes after the commercial airs.” Alternately, “two days before it airs because they heard a rumor that May called Carson a racial epithet in the ad.”

    but his participation in this despicable fraud can only lead me to one conclusion: the man is a total sellout. He has traded in his dignity for a seat at the table with the rich, white, far-left elites who rule the Democrat Party. He was once a legitimate Hero of the Civil Rights Movement, a man who put his life on the line for his beliefs. He has now fallen so far that he has accepted the position of a shiftless Stepin Fetchit for his Progressive masters.

    No matter what it does, the May Campaign will be the recipient of sucker punches, kidney shots, and below the belt jabs, thanks to the efforts of Organizing for America. They might as well throw the haymaker straight at Carson’s jaw. The benefits would outweigh the risks.
    After all, how does Carson counter the truth? With more lies? That will make things worse for him. His only hope would be to change the subject, which would look very suspiciously like a guilty dodge.
    Carson is just standing there with his arms dangling, waiting to be hit with the knockout blow. I say, go for it!

    Farrakhan is a known racist, except maybe not to US Rep. Andre Carson (Julia’s grandson) and the Rev. Wright. So any accusations of racism made by Andre Carson need to be seen in context.
