46/29/4.

FORTY-SIX, TWENTY-NINE, FOUR.

If you’re wondering what that is, it’s the D/R/I breakdown of the AP poll of adults that ‘shows’ the President at a 60% approval level.  Hot Air doesn’t say, but I will: that’s roughly the same ratio that this AP poll was reporting in May of 2009… which is to say, before Barack Obama and the Democrats put on big hob-nailed boots and started jumping up and down on their collective reputation.

In other words: um.  No.

Moe Lane (crosspost)

PS: And in the field of ‘burying the lede’… the actual headline of that AP article should have been “Former President George W Bush hits 50% approval rating in ridiculously Dem-heavy poll.”  Put another way:

Apparent-ly!

[UPDATE] Heh.  Jim Geraghty and I really do think somewhat alike.

As I've said before: polls of 'Adults' are worthless

Finrod (Diary) Wednesday, May 11th at 11:35AM EDT (link)

Even when they’re not skewed this horribly, polls of Adults are worthless when it comes to political discussion, because it’s not Adults that vote.

For the record, Rasmussen’s latest partisan trends are 33.5 D, 34.8 R, 31.7 I. That means this poll’s sampling is D +12, R -6, I -28.

PETA and the ASPCA are pure evil. See here and here.

The AP pollster was overheard shouting last week, “WE NEED TO GET TO 60 PERCENT!!!”

Heh.

Hhahahahahaha.

Is there a better balanced poll of voters

YnotNOW (Diary) Wednesday, May 11th at 2:21PM EDT (link)

that would provide a more realistic rating? Would be interesting…

If not me, who? If not now, when?

Rasmussen is good

Finrod (Diary) Wednesday, May 11th at 2:36PM EDT (link)

Rasmussen does an independent poll now and then to determine what the current balance of Democrats, Republicans, and independents is, then uses those numbers to weight his other polls. Also, he has a good likely voter screen that helps out a lot.

According to Rasmussen, who polls 500 people pretty much every day regarding Obama’s approval, Obama has been in the mid-high 40s for the last year and a half.

PETA and the ASPCA are pure evil. See here and here.

Thx - that number makes a lot more sense!

gutsy poll

blooch Wednesday, May 11th at 3:42PM EDT (link)

They couldn’t slip a dime under his “bounce”, so they put him on a stepladder to dunk it. Too bad the uemployment numbers aren’t this easy to rig…but at least the border fence is done. Can’t wait to see the bounce he gets from that.

“Lieutenant Dike wasn’t a bad leader because he made bad decisions. He was a bad leader because he made no decisions.”

I dunno.

The_Gadfly (Diary) Thursday, May 12th at 1:35PM EDT (link)

I think many Americans are starting to think the Unemployment, Inflation, and Stock numbers are all rigged. They know too many unemployed and have too little left in their wallets for those numbers to be according to Hoyle. As for the markets, they can’t see those being real because of the wallet thing either.

You're right, gadfly

blooch Friday, May 13th at 8:21AM EDT (link)

I should have used clearer language:

“/sarc–Too bad the unemployment numbers aren’t this easy *for Obama* to rig…”

But you know we’ll see the unemployment figures slide magically down to, oh, say, 7% by this time next year.

“Lieutenant Dike wasn’t a bad leader because he made bad decisions. He was a bad leader because he made no decisions.”

Alinsky Press

bigalsouth (Diary) Saturday, May 14th at 11:03AM EDT (link)

When exactly did the AP become the Alinsky Press? When an ostensible “news” organization skews their own poll in order to slant the news, it has fallen to the level of a soviet era state-run propaganda machine. Is this what the AP wants?

Apparently so . . .
