‘All hands on deck’ for job creation! Again.

President Obama, during yet another promise to make job creation his number one priority in life. How many times does that make now? Six? Seven? Eight?  But he means it this time!

“Not until everyone who wants a good job that offers a little security has one. Not until empty storefronts in town are open for business again. Not until working families feel that they’re moving forward again. That’s what drives me every day I go to work. You. Your families. Your jobs. Your dreams, and everything it takes to keep them in reach,” [Obama] said.

Now watch this drive.

That is what the Captain of the Titanic said when they hit the iceberg.

At that point, it is too late to do anything.

We find that Obama again has no clue in how an economy works, and therefore promotes policies that hinder rather than grow the economy:

“good job that offers a little security” – when job security (not able to fire) hinders economic flexibility to grow and adapt to future changes. See civil service retirement program, for example.

“working families FEEL like they’re moving forward again” – the typical democrat appeal to feelings rather than objective reality. Bowing to “feelings” is what makes Dems promise more than government can deliver.

“Your dreams.” – yes, they are MY dreams, and none of your business!

..by calling everyone on deck in the middle of the storm – in order to hand out fire extinguishers.

Which also leaves no one in the engine room to keep the power running – and leaves no one to man the pumps. What could possibly go wrong…?

Hey, are those lifeboats I see being lowered and our ship’s officers scrambling in?

more college courses to prepare students to work on Priuses (sp?) and other future green car stuff–even if there was such a need, wouldn’t that be vocational training, which could be done in high schools, if public high schools were worth anything? Why make this a big deal for community colleges?

They want to pump up people employed in tourism–exactly how is not explained? More people in Mickey suits at Disney? More people in airports with signs that say, “Emmelt Family Limo?”

Another shot at “training” and “retraining” which are retreads from the Job Corps (now corpse) and CETA (I forget now what it meant), both refugees from the Great Society of Johnson, who took Soc. Sec. out of the lockbox and started Fannie Mae. Some ideas are cursed.

NO mention of locking the EPA in a broom closet or disbanding the NLRB or ending the Gulf and Alaska permatoriums or promoting fracking or fracting for nat. gas and oil which are creating jobs and mini booms in PA and ND.

No mention of Boeing and the Carolinas.

little o does not mean to create jobs, he is just deconstructing by saying he WANTS to do so while meanwhile he actually DOES the exact opposite. I don’t think he was smart enough to realize if he was successful that even the left wouldn’t reelect him.
