I want the libs to start believing that Obama can't win this time but they won't until they have a good way to console themselves. One way to get the libs into a defeatiest attitude is to give an alternative story they can like. The story would be that its not Obama's fault things are so bad and it is much more acceptable to let him become the historic "comeback kid" next election cycle after much soul searching and growth.

I don't want him elected this cycle or ever again but he has the media on his side slanting every issue in his favor. We need to defeat the media to defeat Obama. Give them a good alternative narrative and they might go with it.

If this comment is not ironic and I'm not picking up on the
humor, I'm sorry. This sounds an awful lot like Ann Coulter's
"let the Dems win and screw things up and the Reps will
come come back and be in power for decades." It may end
up being trrue, but at what cost? Our economy and way of
life are in too much danger after just one term of runnaway liberal
administration. It is reasuring that the DNC is not supporting
their candidates down the ballot and that bodes well for the
GOP taking back the Senate and inproving the House. But
we all know what the minority can do to slow things down (TG?)
Reversing Obama's damage will not be a cake walk.

Romney knows the meaning of the word "we".
Obama only knows the pronoun "I".
Romney is measured and consistent.
Obama jumps into whatever will gain him a vote.
Romney was raised with American Values in his formative years.
Obama was raised in the Muslim tradition in his formative years.
Romney displays humility.
Obama displays arrogance.
Romney knows how to share what America has blessed him with.
Obama knows how to share what others were blessed with.
Romney places God to the forefront of his life.
Obama uses God to place HIMSELF to the forefront for political gains.
Which one do you want? I'll take the one that believes what we were taught in the Bible.
I'll take the one that does not teach people to covet what others have.
I'll take the one that will not waste the money I worked so hard for.
I'll take the one that respects Biblical teaching.

One last word. When Obama goes after Romney for destroying Bain Capital, look at it this way and in this context:
Pretend our bloated Government is Bain Capital. Does it work well? Is it so large it can't monitor the money it takes from the people? Should it be downsized? Would it be more effective if it only performed the duties it is SUPPOSE to perform according to the Constitution? Wouldn't it be great to have a President that knows how to downsize a bloated government or business that is unprofitable?
I guess since Obama blames Romney for Bain closing even though he had had little to do with it for 8 or 9 years, then Obama can be blamed for America going belly up from all the debt Obama piled on, AFTER he is out of the White House. Goose and gander! Perhaps that old saying wasn't known in Kenya.

and I don't want to think his winning in 2012 would mean he thinks he was won forever. The man already exhibits too many characteristics of a dictator and autocrat.

Defeat him at all costs. And worry about the definition of liberalism later.

To reverse course later. Who knows how high Barry would push the debt and debt ceiling by 2016. Romney and Bachmann have both talked in this primary season about how this is a critical election - and this is why. It is not YET too late, but if we don't take it now, it may become too late to turn the country around. Especially if the next big entitlement (Obamacare) isn't ruled unconstitutional and struck down.

The current liberal narrative is: The history making 1st black (gay, woman, etc) President fights for his progressive agenda and political career in face of the worst economy since the Great Depression and a vast Right Wing conspiracy against him which is motivated by mainly racial and intolerance reasons. If he wins the narrative holds; if he loses then the anger, frustration, and hate will be overwhelming.

How much more satisfying for liberals if the narrative was changed to: The 1st black President dedicated to hope, change , tolerance, and the 99% faces an out of control, terrible economy that no-one could quickly improve. His progressive agenda was proper and just but many Americans just couldn?t accept it at this time. Had the President been able spend more time working on change and not working on jobs and the economy while at the same time fighting the intransigent conservatives he would have eventually won the hearts of most Americans reluctant to change. Winning the 2012 election was just ?a bridge too far?.

However in losing in 2012 he will be able to take time to reflect on his agenda and how to progress it with all Americans. He can make both national and world tours in search consensus and paths forward. He can explore ways to change the minds of conservatives no matter how hardline they may be. He can become truly loved by most and respected by all. When the time is right and he is ready, maybe 4 or 8 years from now, he can once again run for president. Then he will be prepared. Then he will have a concrete agenda and a game plan to sell it. He can then truly transform America. He will once again be historic by being the 1st person re-elected to the presidency after a losing in his quest for a second term in 130 years.

I think liberals will like the second narrative better. It is much more interesting and compelling; it would be much more fun to write about. Also liberals truly believe that no-one, including Obama, will be able to quickly turn the economy around; especially not Romney. Why not let Romney and the Republicans take the brunt of the blame with the American people and come back with a new invigorated fight on better terms. If Obama wins in 2012 and things don?t go well it could be a major setback for liberalism. Please liberals pick up on the narrative to fight the good fight another day.
