DCCC crawls, abases itself for the amusement of Republican Sheldon Adelson.

This is a marvelous sentence.  I love reading this sentence.  It is a sentence full of pure, innocent enjoyment:

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee issued a public apology Thursday afternoon to billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson for charging that the Republican mega donor was tied to the Chinese mob and a prostitution ring.

I’d give you the background, except that you can see it all, right there: the DCCC accused Mr. Adelson of being a pimp for the Chinese mob, Mr. Adelson cast Summon Elite Lawyer Ninja Squad in response, and then the DCCC suddenly realized that they were in deep, deep legal trouble. It’ll be interesting whether or not this is enough to get Adelson’s attack dogs to heel; personally, I’d want at least an actual scalp or two, but then I’m a partisan political hack, not a billionaire.

    but nearly lost my beer at “…cast Summon Elite Lawyer Ninja Squad…”, I had an image of Saruman sitting atop Isengard petting his crystal ball maniacally laughing. If you dont get the Lord Of The Rings reference, just think ‘awesome’ and in context think ‘hilariously awesome’.

    It wasn’t about race, it was about power. Divisive politics = Democrat power. Nothing new here, except, man bites dog story.

    And for that it is worth it.

    Democrats will attack everyone, even there supporters. It is important to understand that part of the reason democrats maintain power is the members of their divided groups are too afraid of being ostracized by their “demographic” fellows then by the damage being done to them by greedy politicians. Look at the black community. One step out of line risks keep logically conservative people from voting for fear of seeing your entire life turned upside down. Lies, innuendos and threats to your church, your family, your employer are very effective.

    Until you point that lying generating attack machine at a rich billionaire of the opposition party.

    It seems to me more rich people are Democrat then Republican but if sure is nice to see an “active supporter” of conservative ideals among the rich. I hope Adelson continues with his lawsuit, because it has the potential to expose the Democrats for the corrupt and dangerous power hungry political party that they have been since they were founded by Jackson.

    Oh, and you ask what this has to do with Jim Crow. This lie generating attack machine is used primarily to keep its “so called supporters” in the fold. Unless you are a victim you probably haven’t witnessed it before.
