I'm telling you: Harry Reid was hit one too many times in the noggin without suitable head protection. The exact quote (about the Hobby Lobby decision, of course): "The one thing we are going to do during this work period, sooner rather than later, is to ensure that women’s lives are not determined by virtue of five white men."
Leaving aside for the moment that Harry Reid is trying to flog a somewhat simplistic (which is Beltway-Speak for 'wrong') narrative... the last time I checked, Clarence Thomas was an African-American. More to the point, the last time I checked it was generally conceded that allowing old, white rich guys to make these kinds of snap judgments about other people's racial identities wasn't really working out for society. Frankly, it's probably best if nobody does that - but, seriously? Harry Reid gets to be the Gatekeeper To The Land Of Whiteness? I can feel my IQ dropping at the mere contemplation of that particular idiocy...

PS: Harry Reid misspoke? Yeah, he seems to be doing a lot of that, lately. Tell me: has Reid seen a neurologist, lately? - Because maybe he should.
