The NRSC goes after… the President.
Mind you, this is all perfectly accurate (Via Ace): …but a bit unexpected to have happen quite this early. Admittedly, the President hasn’t been having the best of months, but this is something that normally takes place after, say, disastrous midterms for the party in power. I think that the answer is in the format: Ed Morrissey notes, this is a web-only ad*. It may | Read More »
February Fundraising numbers are in.
Very shortly: it’s good news for the GOP, with the partial exception of the NRCC. RNC/DNC, February (Via Hot Air) The RNC raised 5.10 million, has 24 million cash-on-hand, and no debt. The DNC raised 3.26 million, has 8.6 million cash-on-hand, and has 6.9 million in debt. A special St. Patrick’s Day message for Dodd, from the NRSC.
It takes a lot for me to admit to the existence of St. Patrick’s Day; like virtually everybody else who can legitimately claim full-blooded Irish descent (15/16ths, in my case), I despise this holiday. You do? Well, go remind people, then. Be sure to also ask if they miss that $2.20/gallon that we were enjoying at the end of 2006, back when the GOP was still running Congress. And when you’re done with that, ask ‘em what they think that the price of gas is likely to be after two more years of Democrats running Congress. Moe Lane PS: | Read More »
Did you enjoy watching Senator Trainwreck embarrass Harry Reid?
Is this the sort of thing that brightens your day? And, like Constant Reader NightTwister, do you think that “Entertainment this good should cost money”? Well, guess what: it does – because one major reason that Doctor No can do this sort of thing is because he can win cloture votes. And the reason why he can win cloture votes is because he has enough | Read More »
GOP Senate to DEM Senate: Drill, or go dry.
You know, I understand why some people find Senate quote-unquote “Minority” Leader Mitch McConnell a bit irksome when it comes to pork generally, but he really does have a feel on the primary aspect of his current job: that is to say, how to thoroughly muck up the titular majority’s day.
