Dangerous Right-Wing Extremists: That means YOU mister!

Ahhh, yes. The old shift-the-attention-of-law-enforcement-towards-people-you-don’t -agree-with trick. Yup, we should’ve seen this coming folks. We stand up and protest the actions of the governent and instead of focusing on our grievances and taking action to address said grievances they tell the cops that we’re “dangerous right-wing extremists”. You may be thinking to yourselves “Yes yes, we’ve heard this one already. The whole Missouri State memo gaffe”. No. This one is new. Janet Napolitano and the Department of Homeland Security have released a report on how dangerous right-wing extremist groups are going to recruit returning vets, disenfranchised homophobic anti-abortion christians, people who read end-times prophesies, anti-tax, anti-government, pro states-rights people, and lesbian surf nazi ninja baby killer dope dealers into thier militias to overthrow the government.

Ok, that last one was a joke and i apologise to all you lesbian surf nazi ninja baby killing dope dealers for suggesting that you would stoop to militia involvement. My bad.

But I’m curious; the list makes it clear that almost anyone concearned about anything the government does is a potential threat to the federal government. I have to ask- If you (the feds) are so concearned about people with a beef against the federal government, then why are you ignoring our calls for restrained spending, smaller government, a simplified tax code, a strong military and less morally ambiguous dealings?

Ok, I just realized I have two questions, and the second one is- Are you really just now figuring out that angry prople are a threat to their governments? Do I really need to cite Moussolini, or what the Bolsheviks did to the Romanovs, or (for a historical depth reference) what the Byzantines did to Andronicus Comnenus? Or how about a more obvious and recent reference that you might have heard of- the American Revolution?

Whaaaat? Do you mean to say that that the people you govern might get so angry with your corruption and despotism that they would DARE pull you down and replace you? HA! Now I KNOW you’re crazy!

Take the hint Janet. We wouldn’t be so mad about “percieved” inaction on illegal immigration, or rising taxes that are funding government irresponsibility, or congressional corruption, or your approach to social engineering through manipulation and fear-mongering if you would just pull your heads out of that warm, dark, slightly smelly place and FRIKKIN’ DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE FOR ONCE! You could start by arresting Chris Dodd and the gang for taking bribes and kickbacks from companies to cover their book-cooking ways or…or….or………ok, I gotta stop. I’m gonna go find a bottle of Glenfiddich and relax for a bit before I go and make some protest signs for tomorrow. You haven’t heard the last of this guys….

Obama is fighting for us….yay.

So, yesterday the Obammessiah gave a press confrence to talk about GM and Chrysler and how the government did not want to run either company. He also made a comment about how canning Rick Wagoner was not a critique of Wagoner, but a chance for GM to find a new vision and a new direction. So in essence, “We are not bashing your vision or direction Rick, but your vision and direction suck.” MMkay. Love it. Classic misdirection and doublespeak. Moving on; Shortly after dissing but not dissing Rick Wagoners’ expertise, the president went on to say to us peasents that he could not guarentee that our jobs are safe, or that the worst is over, but he is fighting for us. In fact, he wants to fight for us so much that he wakes up every day thinking about how he can make the plight of the american working class better. Somebody get me a celebratory noisemaker! Have a party people! The commander in chief is fighting for us against those evil guys that employ us!

Right, so here is my noodle melter for the day: What makes this arrogant politician think we need him to fight for us? Correct me if I am wrong, but when workers in the late 1800′s and early 1900′s were looking for fair wages and better conditions, they formed unions. Not the government, the government was busy sending the national guard down to help the companies supress worker riots. No, the workers fought for themselves and won.I understand that those same unions are now causing the problems of american workers, but they served a purpose at one time.

Furthermore, given a free market and opportunity, the american working class has done more to advance America and her industry than any government agency or politician. Look at Andrew Carnegie, the man who pioneered the American steel industry. He was born a son of a Scottish weaver and ended up one of the mightiest captains of industry the world has ever seen. Not because of a government program or a federal grant or loan but because of hard work and tenacity. Look at Cornelius Vanderbilt, the Commodore, the man who built a fortune out of shipping. The man dropped out of school at age 11 and went on to become one of the biggest industrial emperors of the 19th century because he was smart and hard working. I could go on because these are not isolated incidents.

What I am getting at here is that the American worker has the enviable ability to rise above his or her station through hard work and smarts. Never in the 200+ years of American existence have the workers needed anyone to fight for them. See, the American dream is this: no matter who you are, where you came from, what color you are, what religion you hold, you can be successful through elbow grease and persistence. You don’t need the government to step in and make sure you have that opportunity because if the government stays out of the way, then anyone can do it. From the start there were no guarantees. Once you came to America you were on your own; there were no unions, no healthcare plans, no minimum wage laws, and no regulations. It was open season. This can be a frightening position to be in, but it created a never before seen attitude towards personal success. People realized that if they wanted to go anywhere, then they had to do it on their own steam. This realization combined with determination and confidence created this country.

We live in the land of opportunity, where the free and the brave give birth to children who have dreams and the ability to see those dreams come true. The government has never been the protector of that; we are. The government does not create jobs; we do. The government has never been an innovator; we are. The government has never produced anything; we do. In fact, all of the things the government likes to take credit for have been created by free americans.

So again I ask you this; Since when are the American people so weak and defenseless that we can’t fight for ourselves? Since when did we need guarantees? When did we decide that we can’t decide for ourselves and that we need the feds to hold our hands? The answer is NEVER. We never decided that we couldn’t help ourselves. There has never been a problem so insurmountable that the American people couldn’t overcome it through hard work and determination. What we are seeing here ladies and gentlemen is the usurpation of free will by a man who believes we are babies, incapable of being the masters of our fate. Do not be fooled by a power hungry dictator-in-waiting. We do not need his help, nor do we want his help. We can fix these problems on our own just like we always have.

Blood is shooting out of my eyes.

I’m so frustrated with the way that our government is spending money and writing new laws to take away our freedom. What happened to checks and balances? Where is the supreme court? Why are the supremes not stepping in and reigning in congress like they are supposed to? How is it that the Fed can print up a trillion (with a T!) dollars and not get slapped with a counterfeiting charge? Why is Tim Geithner opening his mouth so much when he knows that everytime he flaps his gums, the value of the dollar drops like a rock? Why is Barack still getting softball questions from the media when he has essentially undone 20 years worth of market growth in less than three months? Why have we not protested the deployment of a military battalion inside the United States, and again, why have the supremes not stepped in to stop it (seeing as how it’s un-constitutional)? Why is the border fence not built yet? Why have we not sent Barney Frank to a speach therapist? Why was Chris Dodd not crucified for his roll in allowing the AIG bonuses? For that matter, why was Geithner not nailed (pun intended) for HIS part in the bonus bull? Why are we not howling in outrage at the power given to the fed to take over ANY business that is deemed harmful to the economy should it fail? And why have we allowed the new eminent domain laws enacted by the supreme court and congress to stand? Why is it that when you put all of these puzzle pieces together and see that there has been a steady usurpation of liberty over the last 20 years designed solely to enslave the American people in the worst kind of tyrannical despotism by slow “legal” means, we do nothing but blog and complain? Why are we not pursuing the cause of liberty? Why are we allowing these few men of tyrannical temperment to get away with the destruction of all that our families have worked for, fought for, and died for?

The blood of the American people has been spilled on every inhabitable continent for the purpose of maintaining the shining light of liberty and bringing that light to the dark corners of the world. By inaction we allow that sacrifice to become worthless. By willing ignorance we trade the freedom that our fathers and grandfathers died to protect for the so called security and protection being offered by these power mad “leaders”. By apathy, we allow the liberty we have protected and brought to the opressed, the hungry, the poor and the weak to evaporate and disappear like mist in the hot sun. We must fight this insidious attack on our values, our way of life, our culture, our homes. We must fight or we will become like the helpless and downtrodden people that have been oppressed by these socialist governments for the last century. We must rise and shout our commitment to individual freedom, liberty and free will to those that would take them away. We are Americans. We do not bow to anyone but God, we do not recognize the authority of earthly kings and dictators. We do not allow injustice to go unpunished and WE DO NOT WANT OUR LIVES RUN BY A LARGE GOVERNMENT COMMITTED TO OUR ENSLAVEMENT! DO YOU HEAR ME BARACK OBAMA, NANCY PELOSI, HILLARY CLINTON, BARNEY FRANK, CHRIS DODD, HARRY REID ETC. ETC.? WE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO DO THIS! I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO DO THIS! I HOPE YOU ARE READY FOR A FIGHT!
