Frontsight is a firearms training company that is pushing a campaign to send all members of Congress the “Don’t Tread on Me” flag on April 19th, the anniversary of the Shot Heard Round the World. The idea is to send a copy of the flag with no accompanying letter–just the flag, to your members of Congress and Obama. The link below has all the details, including a link to the flag for printing, and a link to the addresses you’ll need. Mine are stuffed, stamped, and ready to roll on April 19th. This could run into the millions of letters, so we could give the Post Office something useful to do.

I frequent a police blog at MPD Enforcer and found this: BE SURE AND READ TO THE END HERE. This may be partially a fake. I don’t now which part is real and which isn’t.

I have read all of the emails from Law Enforcement & Military personnel about Barack Hussain Obama’s rudeness and what seems to be disgust for basically anyone in uniform. Well, it’s my turn to add to the list of emailers and here it is:

So members of the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State Police, (me included) and other local agencies inside Calhoun County are working with Secret Service in the security of Mr. Obama. Mr. Obama’s bus arrives in Battle Creek and pulls into the stadium area. Before Mr. Obama exits the bus, he has the Secret Service get off and tell all Law Enforcement personnel in uniform that they now have to stand behind the bus so Mr. Obama is not seen with anyone in a Law Enforcement uniform before he gets off or while in the public view. So, everyone from Michigan State Police, Sheriff’s Departments and other agencies look at each other for a brief second, go and stand behind the bus out of sight so Mr. Obama does not have to see, or been seen with, what to him is ‘undesirables’ since he refuses to be seen, or even acknowledge Military or Law Enforcement personnel in uniform.

And he wants to be our commander-in-chief!

At a time of war and terrorism in our world, this presidential candidate who is being protected by various branches of the military & law enforcement at the tax payers expense, refuses to acknowledge, be seen with, have in his photographed background, any type of Military or Law Enforcement in uniform.

But this is not in the headlines or in the news or on TV. The TV news doesn’t show us marching around behind the bus. In the future, look and see if you can see a single soldier or police officer in uniform when you see Obama. Why? I wonder what the story or media frenzy would be if it was Muslims, blacks, whites, Jews, or any other race, gender, religion, and/or occupation, that Mr. Obama refused to be seen with or have around him.

Why would I make this up? Everyone in Law Enforcement knows we have traditionally had more funding under Democrats.

Just food for thought leading up to November 4th.

I was pleasantly pleased to discover that despite the title, this book is not so much about Barack Obama, the person (though that is covered), but is largely about the policies advocated by Barack Obama and what implementing those policies might do to our country. Obama on abortion, specifically with reference to his daughters: “But it should also include — it should also include other, you know, information about contraception because, look, I’ve got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.” (late March, 2008, in Pennsylvania, when discussing AIDS) This has been reported widely, including: Life News.

Once again, Sarah Palin walks the talk. She just had a baby diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome. She knew in plenty of time to terminate the pregnancy, but she chose not to. Now we find out her 17 year old daughter, Bristol, is pregnant. Sarah Palin undoubtedly knew early on and I believe we will find out she counseled her daughter that once she was pregnant, the right thing to do was marry the father and have the baby, to choose life for her unborn child.

If Bristol had been Obama’s daughter, her baby would have been considered a ‘mistake’ with which she should not be ‘punished.’ In other words, Daddy Obama would have counseled her to have an abortion. I ask you: Who has the moral high ground here? Who shines here? Who comes across as the most principled? I don’t think this issue is a problem for McCain/Palin. I think it is a plus.

My God, it has happened. I can’t hardly believe it. I’m in shock. He actually did it. All these sure-footed guesses yesterday had me a bit depressed, I must say. Redstate put Palenty all over the screen. Someone on the forums assured us secret service agents were surrounding Romney’s sister’s house. I thought the Maverick had lost it with a small-c conservative pick that didn’t rock anyone’s boat, didn’t shiver anyone’s timbers, just made a non-issue, boring, un-inspiring, election-losing pick.

But he didn’t do that. It’s Sarah Palin, the fresh Alaskan wind from the North. You want change? How about it, America? Someone who actually walks the talk, lives her principles, and has more brains than the entire Obama camp put together. It’s Sarah. What a great day!
