More Than 60 Years Later, A Korean War Hero Is Honored

By: Matt Vespa (Diary)  |  April 30th at 06:51 PM  |

The Korean War, which will have its 63rd anniversary this June, has been labeled a forgotten war.  At the same time, it was the first time the United Nations went to war.  Over 33,000 Americans died during the bloody three-year conflict that saw the virtual destruction of South Korea’s economy.  Yet, out of the carnage, the blood, and the mud, came heroes, like Father Emil | Read More »

UPDATE: Abortion Doc Featured In New Video Calls Lila Rose, Live Action ‘Terrorists’

By: Matt Vespa (Diary)  |  April 29th at 04:58 PM  |

Dr. Cesare Santangelo, a leading DC area abortionist, has called Lila Rose and Live Action “terrorists” in a Washington Post story about the organization’s six-month investigation into the late-term abortion industry.  Santangelo, who is captured on video saying he would let a baby die if it were born alive during an abortion attempt, said that: [H]e was “tripped up” by a hypothetical at a moment when he was trying to reassure | Read More »

Abortionist: ‘I Try And Sever The Umbilical Cord First…This Way The Fetus Is Expired First’

By: Matt Vespa (Diary)  |  April 29th at 12:37 PM  |

Live Action has released its second video exposing infanticide in America.  This time we’re in the DC area. In the video, the Live Action investigator, who is 24 weeks pregnant, visited a clinic, and asked what would happen if her baby happened to be born alive – or survive – the procedure.  In the video, Dr. Cesare Santangelo says that he would let the child to die. | Read More »

    Live Action: Gosnell Isn’t Alone

By: Matt Vespa (Diary)  |  April 28th at 01:24 PM  |

Gosnell is an outlier. Gosnell is the end result of anti-choice legislation.  More Gosnells will be created if abortions are outlawed, and pro-lifers hate women.  These were the many talking points pushed by the pro-abortion crowd when conservatives put Dr. Kermt Gosnell – and his Philadelphia abortion clinic – back into the limelight.  Now, Live Action has released a new video after a six-month investigation exposing how Gosnell isn’t alone when | Read More »

    NJ Voters: Investigate Menendez

By: Matt Vespa (Diary)  |  April 26th at 03:30 AM  |

In the wake of alleged ethics violations, most of the voters in the Garden State support the investigation into Sen. Menendez. Forty-eight percent in a Quinnipiac University Poll released Wednesday think the issue is worth investigating compared to 32 percent who believe it’s politically motivated. The Democrat’s job approval ratings continue to improve in the wake of the ethics probe, with 44 to 32 percent | Read More »

Senate Dems = Airline Delays UPDATE: Senate Passes Bill To Ease Traffic Delays

By: Matt Vespa (Diary)  |  April 25th at 09:30 PM  |

If you’re at an airport and waiting in a long line, you should probably blame Democrats – specifically the ones in the Senate.  The fight to keep air traffic controller from being furloughed due to the sequester has failed.  It seems that Kay Hagan (D-North Carolina, Mark Pryor (D-Arkansas), Mary Landrieu (D-Louisiana), and Rep. Bruce Braley (Iowa) are to blame.  According to the Hill: Senate | Read More »

The Incredibly Frustrating Stephanie Herseth Sandlin

By: Matt Vespa (Diary)  |  April 23rd at 07:55 PM  |

With Sen. Tim Johnson retiring, Republicans have a good shot to pick up a senate seat in South Dakota.  Yet, some within Democratic circles are trying to dragoon Johnson’s son, Brendan, to be the Democratic nominee in 2014.  The problem is that no one really know him, and most are pulling for Stephanie Herseth Sandlin to mount a political comeback.  Sandlin, who served in Congress from | Read More »

So, When Will The ABC, NBC, and CBS Report on Obamacare?

By: Matt Vespa (Diary)  |  April 22nd at 06:22 PM  |

As the Big Three –NBC, ABC, and CBS – continue to engage in, to borrow a George Will term, journalistic malpractice over Obamacare’s adverse effects on the economy, they probably missed the development concerning some Democrats, who’ve started to chip away at portions of the bill. Some labor unions are calling for full repeal, and Democratic senators are trying to excise the medical devices tax | Read More »

51% of Americans Say Guns Makes A Home Safer

By: Matt Vespa (Diary)  |  April 20th at 10:39 PM  |

In 2000, only 35% of American felt a gun in the home it safer, compared to the 51% who felt it made a home more dangerous. Yet, the new WaPo/ABC News poll – released on April 18 – showed that the trend has flip flopped, with 51% of Americans feeling that a firearm in the home makes it more safe.  Now, only 29% feel otherwise.  Although, what’s | Read More »

Progress Kentucky Executive Director Met With White House Officials

By: Matt Vespa (Diary)  |  April 17th at 04:46 PM  |

In the fallout of the Progress Kentucky being outed for recording of Sen. Mitch McConnell’s campaign strategy meeting last February, ethics violations were lobbied by both sides.  Citizens for Ethics and Responsibility in Washington (CREW), a Soros-funded group, accused McConnell of using his staff for campaign activities, specifically opposition research, on government time.  Yet, there seems to have been a copyediting mistake – or intentional | Read More »
