Government Continues to Stand In The Way of Energy Independence
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | November 18th at 02:38 AM |
In a striking blow for the environmental left, the International Energy Agency released a report last Monday detailing how the United States is on track to outpace Saudi Arabia in oil production. This surely puts the Obama administration in a bind concerning their green energy monomania that has dominated their energy policy for the past four years. Heritage compiled a nice butcher’s bill of the | Read More »
The Day After…
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | November 8th at 02:31 AM |
Well, we lost. Mitt Romney didn’t win comfortably. BUT, Republicans maintained control of the House of Representatives. In one of the most ignominious highlights of the night, the GOP lost two senate seats – increasing the Democratic majority by two. The current makeup is 55 Democrats to 45 Republicans. In a milestone for the ladies, 20% of the U.S. Senate will be represented by women. | Read More »

They want to expand their small air field, so they can accommodate private jets since its an area for potential economic development. The problem is that a portion of the runway expansion lies on top of | Read More »

By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | October 17th at 09:22 PM |
Yesterday, the War on Coal, one of the most egregious of President Obama’s assault on the American dream, reached the halls of power in Pennsylvania with an unannounced press conference in Harrisburg. Anastasia Przybylski, PA Field Director for FreedomWorks and co-Chair of The Kitchen Table Patriots, invited coal miner Gary Dubois, Mark Fischer, Council Member in Waynesburg and candidate for the State House of Representatives | Read More »
Obama’s bad tryst with coal is going to hurt him
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | October 11th at 11:09 AM |
We all know about the Obama administration’s ‘War on Coal.’ It’s an egregious regulatory onslaught against American enterprise. However, it’s a story that’s often buried by some in the media. Last month, I wrote about how The Washington Post pushed another event in Obama’s war on coal to page 16 of their September 19 edition. It was when “Alpha Natural Resources [planned to] lay off 160 mineworkers | Read More »
