Live Action: AZ Abortionist Tells Woman To Not ‘Torture’ Herself About Baby’s Appearance
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | May 2nd at 02:49 PM |
Live Action has released a new video exposing post-birth abortion (infanticide) in a new investigative video from a clinic in Arizona. Dr. Laura Mercer, the abortionist featured in the footage, details how the baby is terminated within the womb. From the digoxin injection through the belly that stops the baby’s heart to the removal of the child, which Mercer said is commonly done in pieces, the grotesque nature | Read More »
Prosecute Santangelo: Live Action Holds Rally Outside Abortionist’s Office
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | May 2nd at 10:11 AM |
With Live Action pushing hard on the findings of their six-month investigation into America’s late-term abortion industry, the organization decided to hold a rally yesterday in front of the office of Dr. Cesare Santangelo, the abortionist featured in their D.C. investigation, at George Washington University. Besides Live Action President Lila Rose, the list of speakers included: Melissa Ohden, survivor of a failed saline infusion abortion who | Read More »
Live Action: Gosnell Isn’t Alone
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | April 28th at 01:24 PM |
Gosnell is an outlier. Gosnell is the end result of anti-choice legislation. More Gosnells will be created if abortions are outlawed, and pro-lifers hate women. These were the many talking points pushed by the pro-abortion crowd when conservatives put Dr. Kermt Gosnell – and his Philadelphia abortion clinic – back into the limelight. Now, Live Action has released a new video after a six-month investigation exposing how Gosnell isn’t alone when | Read More »
Roe at 40: A Discussion with Live Action’s Lila Rose
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | January 23rd at 05:06 PM |
On January 22, the United States celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case, which legalized abortion in all fifty states. In doing so, the Court usurped a developing consensus amongst the state legislatures on the issue, and violated the principle of federalism that should guide how we enact policy in this country. Nevertheless, Roe, in estimates from The National Right | Read More »
Stephens: ‘ [Hagel] Confirmation Process Should Be Illuminating’
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | January 10th at 06:05 PM |
Chuck Hagel, former Senator of Nebraska, has been tapped to head the Department of Defense. He’s a Republican, who vociferously criticized the Bush administration during the Iraq War – and equated ‘The Surge’ as the biggest foreign policy blunder since Vietnam. I also think Iraq was more of a distraction, than brilliant strategic thinking – but that’s a different matter. We have a nominee for | Read More »
Sen. Mike Lee and Senator-Elect Ted Cruz: ‘Our Ideas Work, Their Ideas Don’t’
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | November 17th at 03:32 AM |
Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) and Senator-Elect Ted Cruz (R-TX) were adamant about two things when they addressed The Federalist Society’s discussion about constitutional law and the Supreme Court yesterday: “our [conservative] ideas work, their [ liberal] ideas don’t.” Furthermore, our ideas have been winning the argument, which explains why law schools are limiting the amount of speakers – invited by Federalist Society – chapters that | Read More »

The Day After…
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | November 8th at 02:31 AM |
Well, we lost. Mitt Romney didn’t win comfortably. BUT, Republicans maintained control of the House of Representatives. In one of the most ignominious highlights of the night, the GOP lost two senate seats – increasing the Democratic majority by two. The current makeup is 55 Democrats to 45 Republicans. In a milestone for the ladies, 20% of the U.S. Senate will be represented by women. | Read More »

Good News Out of PA
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | November 6th at 08:14 PM |
After casting my ballot for Mitt Romney, I tuned into Julie Mason’s The Press Pool on Sirius XM during my three hour trek back to Maryland. Mason’s guest was Pittsburgh-Tribune Review staff writer and editorial page columnist Salena Zito, who detailed how Romney could win Pennsylvania tonight. One indicator was Romney’s rally in Bucks County, which drew 30,000 people. She aptly noted how this doesn’t | Read More »
My Prediction: Romney Wins Comfortably
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | November 6th at 03:23 AM |
The day has arrived. In about twenty-four hours, the stains of Barack Obama will be wiped clean and honor and dignity will be restored to The White House under Governor Mitt Romney. It hasn’t been an easy road. Conservatives waged a brutal primary battle that left us with a scarred nominee – Romney – coming out of the gate to take on President Obama in | Read More »

No, Conservatives Don’t ‘Hate’ Stephanie Cutter
By: Matt Vespa (Diary) | October 26th at 03:05 PM |
Here we go again. Those mean conservatives ganging up of a poor, helpless liberal from the Obama campaign, which happens to be the president’s deputy campaign manager. We don’t “hate” Stephanie Cutter, which Amanda Marcotte suggested in her October 23 post on Slate’s feminist “Double X” blog. Ok, let me walk that back – most conservatives don’t “hate” Stephanie Cutter. You’ll always find those hyper-partisans, on either | Read More »
