PPP has posted their last poll coming out of the garden state. It shows Chris Christie with a 6 pt. lead over Corzine: http://publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/2009/11/christie-leads.html
This is very good news, but what makes this even better is the amount of political capital Obama has invested in it. A very Democratic state like New Jersey electing a Republican over a candidate Obama (who won NJ 57%-42%) has campaigned hard for will be a serious embarrassment to the the president.
In Virginia Bob McDonell holds a double digit lead over Creigh Deeds in a state which voted Obama 53%-46%. PPP has Doug Hoffman leading Owens by a wide margin as well. I have a feeling Tuesday night isn’t going to be a fun night for Obama and the rest of the Democrats.
P.S. GOTV!

NJ
proudgop Monday, November 2nd at 1:01AM EST (link)I was in NJ today helped out Christie a bit in Hoboken ( pretty Dem area) but reaction was better then I thought
I think win in Jersey would be best news of night. Obama was in NJ today had 2 rallies and Corzine has outspent Christie a lot and Christie worked for evil Bush. Might be nice to finally hear Dem Bush message gone
Its going to be very close the Dems are paying a lot homeless to come out and dead people
keep fighting have chance for some gains in the house too.
Redistricting will be big here
No amount of fraud can overcome a 6 point lead
RealQuiet Monday, November 2nd at 1:17AM EST (link)Corzine’s base and Dem voters are not enthused at all. Christie winning Indies 2 to 1 and he has the momentum. The GOP base there is very, VERY excited from reports on the ground. Rasmussen will be out tomorrow and Election Day probably with a 4-7 point Christie lead. Press on. Pretty good chance things will stay where there are and PPP is a Democratic pollster. This race could very well be over.
SUSA and Quinnipiac too
redtillimdead Monday, November 2nd at 1:26AM EST (link)Q overpolled Dems last time. SUSA had the most accurate results in 2008 according to PPP, so we’ll see!

It’s easy and fun.
Every person I spoke to was nice.
And said they were going to vote on Tuesday.
I’ll be making more calls tomorrow night.
I hope you will, too. Even 5 calls would help.
Thank you.

I just posted in another diary about the peculiar PPP polling
nycenterright Monday, November 2nd at 3:52AM EST (link)For a democratic pollster, they’ve had REALLY bad numbers for democrats this year relative to the other polling companies. I think one of the major things we’ll get out of next Tuesday is a look at how polling companies are doing in terms of picking accurate samples. I am most interested in seeing how Rasmussen’s likely voter screen holds up, since they are currently offering a -6 Obama approval rating while all the other polling companies are polling him anywhere between +4 and +17 (but they are polling RV and A).
