One Party Rule, We Want It!

CNN Poll Reports 59% are OK with Dem. Rule

The logic of this absolutely escapes me:
CNN Poll - 59% want single party rule

In a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Tuesday, 59 percent of those questioned think that Democratic control of both the executive and legislative branches will be good for the country, with 38 percent saying that such one-party control will be bad.

This polling seems to be “close” to the election results but not really. I don’t think that there was an overwhelming (59%) white washing on the 4th. The majority of Americans spoke, but it was nothing similar to these numbers.

The problem that I have with the collective logic is the fact that Congress, which was and will remain Democratic controlled is all an all-time low approval rating of 18% posted in July 08.

How can “We” want more of the same? Logic seems to have failed the majority in this case. Or we are getting more of the same bias and failed reporting from our mass media outlets.

I think it is a combo.

Mac should look to NY for inspiration

Stop trying to be the patriot

My advice to my fellow conservatives is for us to look to New York City for inspiration during this election cycle and the darkest of possible days that looms on Wed.

Look to NY? Seriously? Yes, look to NY, almost a year ago NY came into the Superbowl a double digit dog, facing the most prolific offense in NFL history. League MVP, Superbowl MVP, media darling and all around good guy Tom Brady and his Patriot team that was better coached, more prepared and destined to complete their legacy as the greatest team in history.

The Giants had been written off multiple times, barely escaped the primary at Green Bay and had the lesser of two Mannings leading the charge.

Most of us watched that game in amazement, trailing with less than a minute on the clock, Manning pulls off one of the greatest series in Superbowl history escaping a sack and completing not one but two spectacular passes to win the game and essentially start his own legacy….

Yes my friends, look to NY for inspiration this week…hopefully we can pull it off. Our country’s fate hangs in the balance..

Bill Clinton is a sincere man.

I love you! I love you! I love you!

Watching Bill Clinton tear up and whisper “I Love you!” as Hillary entered (stage Left) was a picture that will forever be burned into my memory. The waterworks that he managed to muster up at various parts of her speech could have only been topped by Billy when he squinted in approval at the mention of his own “legacy” and term in the Whitehouse.
