The “Rodney King-a-facation”… of our great U.S. of A.

In America’s haste to lynch George Bush and the Republicans… for the Democrat ”frame-job” of our economy’s woes (that has been so master-mindedly concocted and carried out, I might add) … the public has again reacted to a “Rodney King” incident… but in mass.  The hysteria has led to the burning of the “neighborhood” in order to exact the revenge.   And… in the misdirected haste… the public has cursed itself… forever.

You speak in riddles

…and in the process, crowd out another worthy diary. Try reading the posting rules and then write something intelligible.

Posting rules.

Maybe somebody of intelligence should post a comment.

And the rules are:

“No profanity. ”
“No personal attacks.”
“No harassment or demonization of a particular individual. ”
“No disruptive behavior or off-topic remarks for their own sake”

Post an intelligent diary

and you’ll get intelligent commentary.

This, pinhead, is a throwaway. It adds nothing, as in zip, nada, bupkis to the site or the general discussion.

Do it again and Happy Bunny will dust himself off from his mid-winter hibernation.

I will try… but I may never achieve such “Pulitzer-Prize Winning” scribblings as those.

Goodbye.

Becker happens to be one of the star posters at RS. He has much more street cred than you.

He’s also been here longer than you. You hide in the corner for a month and use the comments section of your first post to attack RS. I feel inclined to believe that you may be a lefty troll.

I will resume ignoring you now.

yes, both are TP RS'ers but they are not pals

OK idiot.

Both of those diaries had inflammatory titles for a specific reason… to get people to click on them. In the particular case of Mike Duncan, it’s also the absolute truth.

Both of those diaries have a specific point and it’s well documented in both cases. In the “rope” diary, I pointed out that President Bush has been anything but a fiscal conservative or a free-market promoter and his signature programs have done nothing but grow government and burn enormous amounts of money. I went on to applaud conservative Senators who were standing against bailing out the auto manufacturers.

In the “Duncan” diary, I point out that Mike Duncan takes the members of the party for fools. He wants to take full credit for one Senatorial win and a couple of House wins in run offs while ducking any responsibility for 2006 and 2008. My point was that Duncan is utterly unfit to be the Chair of the Party and that we need new blood. And when some folks whined about my use of the word “idiot”, I responded by posting the actual dictionary definition of the word, which fits Duncan to a tee.

Contrasted to the piece of crap at the top of this page, I should get a Pulitzer. You have none of those pesky “fact” thingys, you have no conclusion, and no cogent point. You also have no action items, but then again since you didn’t identify a problem that makes sense.

How many of your diaries hit the rec list again?

We know the posting rules.

Evidently, you do not.

Please elaborate

George Claghorn Friday, January 9th at 10:13PM EST (link)

In the future, please refrain from posting “throwaway diary entries” — posts that are short remarks should be saved for comments in Open Threads, which typically occur on the front page on a daily basis.

When you post a short diary entry like this one, it pushes other diaries with good, substantive content off of the list on the sidebar.

“Victory comes, though we know not when. We must be happy warriors until the end.

For those of you who struggle with what goes on, who see retreat and capitulation, and who feel like not just your political opponents, but those who hold dear all those things you hold as blasphemous — be cheerful. Be happy. Victory is already yours.

Did not post this as....

Ned Reck Friday, January 9th at 10:44PM EST (link)

A “throwaway diary entry”… nor “speaking in riddles”… nor did I consider it a comment.

It was a post that was dear to my heart. The unsuspecting voters for Mr. Obama’s “change”… in their outrage to punish the Republicans… climbed onboard a bus headed for a cliff. And, therefore, doomed themselves (us).

When I think of the “Rodney King” incident… I remember seeing a group of emotionally-outraged individuals who ended up hurting themselves greatly… by burning down their own neighborhoods.

I can see this in “Al Franken’s” so-called win… and throughout the country… in the upcoming calamity that is President-elect Obama’s win. Woe be it to the “lynch-mobbers”… the victims of their own vengence.

But as you say… in the future… I will refrain from posting in a forum who cares little about understanding OUR mistakes…. and who bickers because a post does not meet their subjective criteria for substance.

Like it or not, this is a throwaway entry.

George Claghorn Friday, January 9th at 10:49PM EST (link)

Save it for the Open Threads. If it’s so dear to your heart, elaborate more in the entry.

Also, use <—- that button when you are replying to a comment.

Well...

1. Yes it is.
2. Yes it is.
3. Yes it is. But barely.
4. Reevaluate your heart.
5. No comparison, lousy metaphor.
6. So what?
7. We care a lot about understanding our mistakes. To make such an outrageously stupid and vapid comment demonstrates that you haven’t read RS over the last few months.

You can go away now. You have nothing to offer if this is the quality of your work.
