This is purported to be NOT photoshopped, but an actual photo of a guy at a pro-Palestinian rally in Manhattan yesterday. H/T Tammy Bruce, who in turn h/t’s LGF

    Juice Death

Readable only in the bigger photos, the word ‘Zionist’ was scribbled above ‘Juice’, possibly by an English-speaker who wanted to help this poor idiot out

    Sounds like a marketing ploy.

Rod is going to appoint Roland Burris (who has been lobbying a tad obsessively for the position) as Barack’s replacement… even though Blagojavich wasn’t giving the 71-year old former democratic comptroller any serious consideration until all hell broke loose over that attempt to sell the seat…
This does make one wonder what price was settle for now, doesn’t it.
Probably got it at a bargain, being that Harry Reid warned Blago that they would refuse to actually seat anyone he selected…
    Anyway…
Burris, who has racked up an impressive record of primary losses in races ranging from Chicago mayor (a humiliating drop-out defeat against Richard Daley) to governor (for which he struck out THREE times at bat –1994, 1998 and 2002, against Blagojevich) and U.S. senator (which he lost VERY badly against challenger Paul Simon), informs us that Obama’s replacement should be able to win a re-election.

And, in spite of Roland’s embarrassing string of primary losses (where he actually has to be ELECTED by the people of Chicago) he’s never lost to a Republican.

You know… I really am trying to see all of this from Rod and Rolland’s perspective… But I just can’t manage to get my head that far up my own backside.

    The one grabbing the sign…?

    “Hey.. pssst… moron… put it down… put it down… It’s supposed to say Zionist JEWS…JEWS… not JUICE… you idiot…”

  • MelZ

Is it me or is Human Events’ comments full of copy and pasted dribble from lefty lurkers?

I use to have some fairly decent conversations there with people but recently every time I try and scroll through the comments it is post after post of long sometimes non-sensical word vomit usually not related to the topic. You can go from topic to topic and see the same posts over and over again.

It makes me very sad to see so much lunacy allowed….

I hope this was the right lplace to post this question, I did not think it was worthy of diary….

  • MelZ

I am not afraid to say I had no idea what this sign was all about. I kept thinking…what’s this guys beef with juice? Is juice too American? I said it over and over then finally read the post about Zionist being written above.

Guess I am a little slow, but this poor guy? Does he have his green card?

  • George Claghorn

Of the word “Jews,” from what I hear.

  • gekster

He may just have a bad lisp,
and tried to spell it as it sounded.

  • George Claghorn

He may just be an idiot.

  • George Claghorn

And leftist trolls in the comments section. They need someone like Moe. ;)

  • rgirlinadcity

how do you link things now?

  • janis

Just when I got it figured out on the RedState 3.0, now we have a new system.

  • Aaron Gardner

    {a href=”http://www.website.com”}display text{/a}

replace all the { and } with

  • NightTwister

(a href=”http://insertwebsitehere.com”)Text here shows as underlined and you can click on it(/a)

Just change the parenthesis with greater-than/less-than symbols, change “insertwebsitehere.com” with the actual URL to the article, and change the “Text here shows as underlined and you can click on it” with whatever you want to show in the blog/comment.

    Happy HTMLing

  • zuiko

    <a href=”http://www.acme.com/whatever”>link text</a>

  • Aaron Gardner

replace { with “” again without the quotes.

  • NightTwister

If it does, this should show HTML syntax for linking:

    Shameless Plug

    If it doesn’t….well, it’s still a shameless plug ;-)

    Showoff…

Stay tuned for further cries for help. At least from me. I’m an old dog who can learn new tricks, but sometimes I have to learn them several times before I remember them. :-)

Several of my diaries from RS 3.0 got screwed up during the transfer from RS 3.0 to RS 4.0. One diary has every link broken in it but two of them. Two others have one broken link each in them, but the rest of the links work fine. However, all of my other diaries have no broken links in them whatsoever. Since I formatted all of my diaries the same way on 3.0, I don’t know why some of them are perfect, and why some have broken links now, but I digress. Anyway, is there a way for me to edit the screwed up ones and correct them? I don’t see an edit button when I click on them. (The diaries with the broken links are linked below.) Any help would be greatly appreciated. :-)

  • NightTwister

Click on “Create a New Diary” at the top of RedState. Then click on “Manage” near the top of that page. You’ll see a list of all of your RS 4.0 and 3.0 diaries and you can edit any one of them.

  • bs

and I don’t have any magical moderator privileges. Click on “Create a new diary”, then click on Manage. You should see a list of your diaries that goes back into the RS3 timeframe. Click on the diary, edit it, and then save it with the Save button on the right. Your changes should be saved. At least it worked for me…

  • Susannah

Thanks NT & bs. I really appreciate the help. I’ll fix them tonight after dinner when I can get my husband to help me. I’m kind of computer illiterate. :-)

  • Darin_H

Broncos fire Head Coach Mike Shanahan. WOW….

  • NightTwister

The SF 49ers have an opening for Offensive Coordinator…. :-D

  • E Pluribus Unum

The Cows do not have an opening, either at Head Coach or OC — and I wish they did. Why Jerry has not fired Coach Cupcake and the RedHeaded Boy Wonder is beyond me.

  • Kenny Solomon

    n/t

  • E Pluribus Unum

But not a chance in hell.

Jerry Jones will not fire Coach Cupcake.
Jerry Jones will not cut Terrell Owens.
Jerry Jones will not cut Pacman Jones.

Imagine him giving up on Jake Plummer Tony Romo.

  • NightTwister

Never really thought of it that way, but I believe you’re on to something.

  • mbecker908

    You could call it…

The Rise and Fall of the Romo Empire!

  • Darin_H

Shanahan followed Wade in Denver, and took them back-to-back. Could happen again….. Naaaaaah, not with Jerry Jones as the owner.

  • E Pluribus Unum

are available – and I seriously believe we could get Cowher to come here – and Jerry is unwilling to give Coach Cupcake a ride on the get-out-of-town-express.

Check it out in the Times UK!

Now a confirmed atheist, I’ve become convinced of the enormous contribution that Christian evangelism makes in Africa: sharply distinct from the work of secular NGOs, government projects and international aid efforts. These alone will not do. Education and training alone will not do. In Africa Christianity changes people’s hearts. It brings a spiritual transformation. The rebirth is real. The change is good.

That’s change I can believe in!
